APA/MLA Guidelines - 7th/9th Editions Style Reference for Writing: a QuickStudy Laminated Guide (QuickStudy Academic)

This was very inexpensive and is laminated and folded. It's much easier to look up the most often occurring questions by checking this simple guide than rummaging through the complete style manual.

Another Great aid for college admissions.

I love these abbreviated style guides. So easy to use. I have this one and AP and AMA. They are detailed enough to give you what you need. I don't need to subscribe to online sources.

Simply to the point

I bought this laminated version so I would not need a big book. It suits the purpose fine.

Satisfied

The idea here is great--all the essential elements in a convenient fold-out. But in order to cram in so much information, the font is small, and made harder to read by the plastic coating that reflects light. I appreciate the fact that it offers both APA and MLA guidelines, but suspect most people just need one or the other, not both. If there was an MLA version and a separate APA version, you could choose, and the font could be larger.

This APA instruction pamphlet is exactly what you are looking for when you are looking for help with APA formatting. It can definitely be overwhelming to look at given there are so many rules, but it is definitely helpful to cover up the rest of it with a piece of paper to help you focus on the information you are looking at at that moment. Very well constructed and laminated so it is waterproof too!
