Decent tools
Good set for home hobbyist

Good inexpensive 1/4 inch lathe cutting tool
I use these with My small Craftsman lathe. The steel seems good and the edge that it was shipped with was good enough to face a cast iron backing plate for my 3-jaw chuck. Will order again when I grind them down too far. That should be a long time

I am happy. I am never happy, except now.
I thought I was being stupid to spend this much on preground tools. I was wrong. They are much nicer than I had imagined. I won't be testing them on Monel, but mild steels cut with a fine finish. Cast iron is a little more wear than I like to see on tool steels, still very acceptable for small lots.

60 degree Left bit is unfinished
Look at the pictures closely. The 60 degree left bit is NOT the mirror image of the 60 degree right bit. The left bit has no back or side rake -- you'll have to grind those angles yourself.
