Q: Does this company test its razors on animals?

No, Nicole. We only test our products on ourselves, family and friends :) Once in a while Rufus our Japanese spitz would love a good trim but he has his own set of trimming tools :)

Q: Does it keep your face hairless longer between shaves?

It depends on the sharpness of the blade used. The included blade's sharpness is very mild, so I have to shave every day. Feather blades are very sharp; I can skip a day when I use this blade. It also depends how fast your beard grows and the coarseness of your hair. The razor holds the blade, and the Viking Vulcan holds the blade at a even angle to accomplish the task of shaving. This is not a heavy razor, but the width of the shaving head and the length of the handle feels good while manipulating it and inspires confidence while shaving. I shave faster with it and get a better shaving experience than with my previous razor because it's a precise razor holder.

Q: is it compatible with feather blades??

Yes I use Feather blades in this razor on a regular basis--very smooth and efficient shave
