Great book with lots of information.

This is the first Glennie Kindred book that I have read - and what a good book it is! Easy to follow and full of useful information for anyone looking into the past to see where our traditional 'celebrations' came into being. Very expressive and written beautifully. Her artwork too is simple yet effective. A book to treasure and this, for me, is the start of the Glennie Kindred journey as I have just ordered another two of her books. Definitely recommended for anyone interested in Celtic history and traditions - through to the modern day and where it fits into our society.

If you are interested in the Celtic Festivals and following the turning of the year this is a great resource. Glennie Kindred tunes you into the energy of each festival and gives practical examples of how you can celebrate it both individually and with a group of people. There is a great deal of information in this book imparted in a straightforward way with great heart. It is a book that can be accessed and appreciated by anyone which is a real gift.

Love the book loads of information for ceremony and ritual

Got this on a recommendation and to say that it is a book to last a lifetime is no understatement. It has so many tips, ideas, knowledge and more about pretty much every aspect of ceremony that you could need. I cannot wait to start adding in some of these fantastic ideas.

I already have this book purchased 18 years ago, its so informative and beautifully written, I decided to buy a newer version as a gift, however this new version is extremely small printing and the quality of the cover is very thin, on opening the package already the cover is bent and does not sit flat. I would rather pay a few pounds more for a quality that will last the years. Such a shame I felt I had to return it.

Loved this book. It is easy to read and we'll organized. It will show you how our ancestors celebrated the seasons and in which ways you can also do it. Very in tune with Nature.

Es riecht extrem nach Schimmel! Ich bekomme Kopfschmerzen, sobald ich das Buch aufschlage. Es ist offensichtlich, dass das Buch falsch gelagert wurde. Auch wenn der Inhalt möglicherweise gut ist, kann ich es nicht genießen – meine Hände stinken nach dem Lesen und der Schimmelgeruch ist selbst nach drei Tagen nicht verflogen. Grausam und wirklich schade!
