SLx Philex Satellite A/B LNB Switch - Black

This is sold as a switch for connecting a single satellite receiver to two different aerial feeds, but works equally well for switching a single satellite dish between two receivers, in my case Freesat and Sky boxes. I'd already tried using an aerial splitter, but the loss of signal strength was too much for the rather elderly Sky box to cope with. So I was looking for a physical switch that would ensure the dish was only connected to one receiver at a time, and that receiver would get the full signal strength. Seeing other people had used this switch for that purpose, I bought it, connected the dish to the centre socket, and flyleads for the receivers to the outer sockets. It works perfectly and each receiver gets a strong signal when selected. It seems to be strongly constructed and gives the impression of being good quality at a bargain price.

Simple and effective. I actually use it to switch one sat feed between a Freesat box and a custom-pc-with-sat-recorder-usb-device.

This little switch has at long last solved my T.V. Problems. There we'r no instructions on how to use it so i just got on with it, I was looking for a way to set up a t.v. in my bedroom running a cable from my sky + box downstairs, to a freesat box upstairs, i just happened to see this switch mentioned and looked it up,The price is great and i thought ,well if it doesn't work i won't have lost too much, I set it up and it works great i read that you can't watch the sky and sat box at the same time, but i must have wired it wrong because i can have freesat on upstairs and change channels, and have sky on downstairs and change channels without any probs, and no loss of signal. I am really pleased, it arrived very quickly and easy to install, would definately recommend this seller. Many Thanks, :-)

Delivered today and fitted in my motorhome so that I have 2 outlets from one satellite LNB. Only 5 minutes to fit and does the job a treat, now have good reception in living area and bedroom depending on switch position..

functions well, although slight loss of signal, solidly put together

I used it to try to separate an incoming signal from a dish into two receivers (only one working at a time) and which I was told would work. It didn't and I am told by the professional who advised me that it may therefore be faulty.

Swift delivery thanks. My sat dish is to high to get at, got this as a work around in the meantime to connect another box. One satelitte cable into tv connection One cable into sky had box on connection A One cable into other sat box or free sat connection b I can now switch between boxes, with a bit of channel management and recording management on the sky hd box this works great. Remember though this is not really practical if you want to use box boxes at the same time or recording 2 channels, as you will lose an functions on the box you dont have selected. There will be some channels you can watch on both channels at the same time as there on different freqs. Though its better to use independently. The best option is to run extra cables, but does the job for now
