Does not float which is reflected in price. Fine by me as prefer not to spend £10.00 plus on a thermometer. Comes with rope/string attached for fixing to side of pond. Does what it's meant to do.

It works great people just fill the bottom with water or submerged the thermometer in the water to get your temperature
