Great lightweight high quality tent for one
This one has been my darling for two summer hikes on GR5 in the French Alps. Its lightweight - only 700grams for double layer tent is amazing, its waterproof and windproof. You have to master the set up though, it takes some skill.

Great lightweight tent
Took this tent out on two multiday hikes, three nights in Yorkshire in November and four nights in Devon in April. The tent works perfectly fine, but can be a bit fiddly to set up with the correct distance between outer and inner tents. The clips used for tensioning the inner tent are too small and should be handled gently. I really like the size, it is easy to sit up in the tent, plenty of space for small items and a roomy vestibule, which was even big enough for cooking for me. The tent held up well in gusty conditions up on the Yorkshire dales. All in all I can highly recommend this tent.

Can't beat the price / weight ratio
This is probably the cheapest sub 2 lb double wall tent on the market. The tent holds up well so far, no leaks (I sealed the seams with silicone as recommended). It is reasonably fast to pitch once you figure out how. As a bonus it can be pitched with the outer and inner tent attached to each other, which is good when pitching in the rain. While being small, the space is adequate for me (6'2', 180 lb). I replaced the short guy rope loops at the corners of the tent and the vestibule with bungee cord loops, which helped a lot in getting a taut pitch. Great piece of gear.

Zip was of poor quality.
The zip came away from the other side on the first use. rendering in effectively useless.

Great value and weight
Used this tent in the Outer Hebrides during very wet and windy holiday. Held up great even in extreme weather (wind/rain). Minor issue was the clasp that broke during a storm (clasp at the foot end of the tent), but that was easy to repair. I don't really hold it against the tent, because the weather was extreme. In all other ways I was pleasantly surprised about how well the tent held up in the wind. I am 188cm tall and fitted well. Taller people might have issues with fitting without touching the top/bottom of the inner tent. Basically a great and extremely lightweight tent for the price.

Not used this in anger yet, will update this ...
Not used this in anger yet, will update this review once I have. I bought this for use Packrafting I needed something super-light and hoped to use my 4 piece paddle as the support. I set it up in the garden, using the paddle with a couple of homemade paddle caps (heatshrink tubing) - This worked well although I will need to mod the lower end of the paddle cap to include a spike. The design of the tent has changed vs the product pics on Amazon and the videos on youtube. Briefly the main support now has a sleeve into which your paddle/hiking pole goes, the inner clips to sleeve and the outer tent ridge-line. The rear pole is now external vs the original internal pole in the amazon pics - and this means that the rear pole can also not become a branch/panner bag/paddle/walking pole thus saving an extra 50g for the rear pole (!). The tent is erected either inner and outer together, or outer pitched first. The new design means that the inner tent can be completely rolled up and packed away without exiting the tent (eg to keep it dry). It is also possible to drop the inner, unclip it and part fold it to temporarily give more internal space - eg for cooking. The floor is seam sealed (see pics), but the outer is not. This will need to be seam sealed by you. to do the seam sealing, you will need some Sil-Nylon compatible seam sealant such as https://amzn.to/2qUvfjB (Erect just the outer and seam-seal it from the inside, when dry, remove the pole, invert the outer and seam seal that area too, use talcum powder on the seal once cured to prevent it sticking to its self). Beware that this will run, and you will need to brush it in. I found a flat-end brush such as a make-up brush to be ideal for this, forget using the one that came with the sealant! This is no Hilliberg Akto (which I also own), and it is not going to perform well in wind or driving rain. I will use it as a summer tent, and at £89 its a bargain. Please note that the footprint shown on amazon does not fit the £89 780gram tent, it is for the larger 1200gram tent with the hoop pole. Update1: I have now seam-sealed this and left it out in the rain all night to test - no leaks. To seam seal, erect the tent inside-out (you can get the supplied pole in the rear at an angle using the hook that would usually hold the inner tent up. Get it taught by temporarily hooking one of the guy ropes over the top of the rear pole, then peg the rest of the tent out as usual. Don't seal with neat Mcnett Silnet ( https://amzn.to/2qUvfjB ), rather, dilute it with some white spirit until you have a thick olive-oil like consistency. Initially, make up a small batch eg 10-20ml of white spirit, dollop of Silnet. Using a small tipped brush (eg a makeup brush or art brush - flat tipped eye makeup brush is ideal), seal all the seams including the zipper seam, but ignore the seams you cant get to. Go over high-wear and important area's twice (top of main pole, ridge-line). Once dry (eg 4 hrs), dust seams with talcum powder, and then erect tent with flysheet the correct way around. Installing the inner as well at this point will assist in getting seams taught. Now that you are neat with the seam sealing, do the seams from the outside as well, remembering to also do the bits you could not get at when it was inside-out (door zip flap, vent flaps). I did the main pole top and ridge-line twice. Let it dry (4hrs), dust with talcum powder. Took me about 90 mins to do this properly + drying time.

I have bought and tested st least 6 inexpensive tents, this one is made for ultralite hiking so it is not made to be spacious, it's made to offer weather and bug protection at minimal weight. Other tents with similar designs cost a minimum 2x and up more than this one. There are a couple of easy tune ups I'll be doing but I am impressed with the quality stakes, textile and waterproofing for a fully loaded weight of on my scale 23.5 OZ straight out of the box. You do need to use your own trekking pole or sturdy measured stick. My mat is 78 x 25 and fits fine with extra room at head and foot, the vestibule has enough room to cook or store gear. The entry exit is the entire long side of the tent so no crawling on hands and knees. Update: after using it for 3 weeks now its been up every night I can say this is as good as any 1 man UL tent you can buy have been through 4 rain storms and 3 snow storms and stayed dry the entire time with 0 condensation it is well ventilated and waterproof. The changes I am making are simple, Turning the cinch strap that holds the hiking pole into a cup by sewing another piece of webbing onto it and putting the guy out from the mesh inner tent through the mesh on the rear of the fly to tension the mesh tent ridge taught. tent is usable as is but I always tweak gear to how I want it.
