Total Knee Replacement - buy this!
This simple little thing has made it so very much easier to work on the flexion of the knee joint, particularly right after the op, when you feel you might never bend your knee again. I have mostly used it in bed, and just kept trying to slide my leg towards me - virtually no friction against the sheet, so much easier. I’m in week 3 post op now, and my physio is extremely impressed with the degree of flexion I have; I thank this little gadget for this. Don’t go for any of the fancy - and expensive - gadgets; just buy this before your op - you wont regret the purchase.

NHS Otho-Glide - Great product post knee replacement
This is a super little gadget, a small round “plastic disc” with a padded indent for the heel of your foot, well made, portable and light it has been a great help with my post knee replacement excercise regime. I’m just a few weeks post surgery I use it regularly for doing my exercises in bed or sitting on a chair. The need to be able to straighten and bend the new knee well has been emphasised again and again by the physiotherapy team to optimise knee function, this gadget has made that experience less painful and more effective. I almost bought an American gadget ($135) I’d seen on YouTube, so glad I didn’t!

It is convenient to use so I don’t mind doing the exercises!
It works and was slightly easier to use than the plastic bag suggested by my physio......but a lot more expensive!

Don’t order this
Waste of money. £14.99 for a piece of plastic and no refund facility. Disgraceful!

A very useful excersise gadget
This is a simple concept, like a minny Frisby glider with a place for your heel in the centre , you insert removable little adhesive inserts to cushion the heel, then either in your chair, bed or floor you can practice straightening and bending your new knee with a gliding yet fully controlled safe motion, so small a price to pay for an excellent recovery aid, that can be popped in a handbag. They also do replacement adhesive heel supports revolutionary!!!

Ortho glide
A bit uncomfortable. The padded part needs to be thicker

Excellent after TKR
After my TKR this simple but brilliant device helped me with the necessary exercises. Physio recommended a silk scarf! This was much cheaper and much more effective.

Overpriced. Poss better options to be found
Overpriced for what it is. It's tiny. Rather uncomfortable too. Only 1 heel pad given.I think you'd be better buying a £1 frisbee and adapting it, or even using a plastic bag
