Not okay with my hair at all. I couldn’t even finish it because it irritated my scalp too much

After trying various different shampoos for my thinning, fine (but lots of it) menopausal hair, this seems to be the best for me so far. I have been using it for a month or so now and usually with a new shampoo it would work for a few weeks (aka the hair honeymoon) then go back to it's usual depressing state. Not so with this so far. , I had never considered using a volumising shampoo before as I always assumed it would "coat" my hair with something to make it thicker, making it greasy quicker. Well I was wrong! My hair is fuller, softer and my scalp itchiness has been reduced significantly. It's not quite perfect, I still get a bit of itchiness around the nape of my neck after a day or so due to sebhorric dermatitis, but I can put up with that for the results obtained. My hair can get greasy within 36, sometimes 24 hours and it can be hard to resist the temptation to wash it too often, but I can go 2 days between washes now which is a good improvement. I love how easily this lathers and the fragrance is lovely - light and fresh but not a "medicated" type smell. My hair is often a tangled mess after washing due to being so fine, but it is much easier to manage now with this shampoo. I can get away with little or no conditioner after washing. As per another review, please sort out the awful bottle caps but apart from that don't change a thing please!

This shampoo is excellent for fine hair! It leaves no greasy residue or that claggy texture. You don’t need a lot do Will last a while. My hair felt squeaky clean, easy to comb and dried with shine and smoothness, no static flyaway hair either. Smelt lush too!

This shampoo is top quality, lathers beautifully, and is absolutely great for sensitive scalps. It also has a divine smell. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because it is so incredibly hard to open the flip top bottle. I'm elderly, but still have very strong hands and nails. I've had to resort to trying to prise the lid open with the blade of a knife or a screwdriver, which dangerous and something I shouldn't need to do. Sometimes a rough towel does the trick. Why, oh why can't we have a simple, safe, screw top bottle? This is a design fault and makes me think whoever came up with this hard to open top never tried it out properly at the prototype stage. It's a real packaging design flaw for a wonderful product. Aveeno please bring back a screw top.
