EPOMAKER RT100 Retro Gaming Keyboard with Display Screen, BT5.0/2.4G/USB-C, 97 Keys Gasket Custom Keyboard, Hot Swappable, RGB Backlit, with Knob for Win/Mac (Gateron Pro Yellow)

I really love this keyboard. First of all, the keyboard has this retro look with the beige, light brown and grey color combination and really completes its look with the large font keycaps. The form factor is 96, I believe, which I like very much because of the dedicated numpad in a much smaller footprint than the common 104 keyboard without losing much of its functionality and conveniences. The volume knob has a cool flashing light and also has very distinctive and positive notches to control. The typing sound is pretty thocky and very pleasing to my ears. Depending on your level of pickiness, you may want to put some lube on the spacebar stabs but other stabs didn't really need it. This is one of the best premade keyboards I've had that really feels like a custom keyboard at a much cheaper price. If this keyboard came out much earlier, I might have ordered this one and would been happy to satisfy my need for 96 keyboard. Highly highly recommend!

I had made a disparaging review prematurely and deleted it. I know when I make a mistake. I actually bought this keyboard at a large discount returned/used. When I opened it the space bar and switch fell out. I had to fix that. Screen didnt work. Fixed that. I recently learned the + on the num pad was all messed up. Switch with a 45 degree bent post tip. I was able to straighten that and stick it back in. This is why it was $40. Otherwise this is an amazing keyboard. May get more for a few other computers if I can get them for the same price.

The keyboard feels extremely good to type on, and the yellow switches give it a nice soft feel and a very pleasant clicking sound. The keys stop firmly when pressed to give you a nice feedback that the keystroke was input, even the spacebar does not feel wobbly at all unlike other options. It also has a very nice weight to it, so sliding is definitely not an issue. The keyboard works wirelessly, but the cable is probably the best cable I have ever used, it will probably outlast every other cable I own, which says a lot about the high quality of the materials. The software is a bit slow, but with a bit of patience you have a wide arrange of options to customize the lighting as you wish, and the screen is a lovely feature that as an artist I found extremely fun to play with. There are two points that pick at me though. The aesthetic of this keyboard is ALMOST perfect. I love the retro vibes, the beige and brown colors, the big font and keycaps, the 95% compactness, the screen that creates a fun focus point! All is great, except for one thing. There is this round black knob at the top right corner to control the system volume that irks at me. I believe it does not match the aesthetic of the keyboard at all, but this is clearly a minor complaint. I would also appreciate other key formats to be available for purchase. As a spanish speaker, the lack of Ñ hurts a little bit, but it's a very minor inconvenience that I decided to trade for this beautiful keyboard.

This keyboard is awesome and I cannot recommend it enough. The clicks are very creamy and not annoying at all. It is easy to clean and program. The Lights and picture on the display screen are completely customizable and are connected to a community when the software is installed on your computer so you can acess hundreds of different light setups other than what they give you in the base version. The CPU usage is reliable and the temperature of where you live is pretty unique. THINGS TO KNOW!: The bluetooth works great and there is no lag *** WHEN CHARGING MAKE SURE THE KEYBOARD IS SET TO OFF*** or it will not charge correctly. It usually takes awhile ***BE CAREFULL WITH THE SCREEN*** the male port that plugs into the keyboard is kind of flimsey so it can be kind of annoying to bend it accidentaly and it doesnt sit flush with the keyboard Other than that its a great buy and I hihgly recommend it

Tried this keyboard for 4 days then returned it because it was defective. After looking online it seems like this is a common problem. Worked really well day 1 in all modes - bluetooth, 2.4ghz plug, and wired - only issue was I couldn't access the custom EPOMAKER software unless it was wired to my PC. Day 2 I started working in the morning and immediately noticed that the entire top row of keys did not work. They would light up the entire column of keys when I clicked them but the actual keystroke would not come through (video shows the light issue and that other keys work but page up and page down didn't work, not on video but ESC and F1-F12 did not work either). I uninstalled all of the drivers and software and did a reset to factory settings via FN+ESC, then reinstalled everything and it managed to not be broken anymore for the rest of the day. Day 3 was flawless. Day 4 the exact same thing as day 2 happened where the entire top row of keys stopped working right. Tried to uninstall everything and reinstall like I did before but it still didn't fix the problem. This was just a headache. I saw bad reviews and people reporting problems and reporting bad customer service before buying but figured I'd take a chance, it was not worth it. I'm returning it. Not even going to try dealing with their customer service or trying to get a replacement one.

I love this keyboard (which I'm using to type this review). The retro 90's look and feel and the sound the keys make is amazing! The keyboard is a dream to type on. I love the LED light, the media control knob. The only thing that isn't a total A++ is the little onboard module which is cute but I don't find it super useful. The first keyboard I received was bad. I reached out to the company and they immediately got back to me, they were super helpful and responsive. I recieve a replacement right away and it works perfectly. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with this business or their product!

For the first month or two, the noise level of the keys were phenomenal, as well as the battery life. I liked the color scheme and hot swap ability for the keys. Felt sturdy weight wise but unfortunately over the past few months its performance has declined quite a bit, connectivity via bluetooth and battery life are consistently bad, never could get the mini screen to function properly (multiple OS trials) and the keys have gotten a lot louder than they came. I do use this keyboard daily for work and passion projects and loved it when I first got it. I just wish it worked better long term to be able to recommend others to purchase it.

Originally was dealing with issues getting the driver working but thankfully the support team helped me out a day later. It's excellent especially for the price, the key switches are smooth and silent. Backlight on the keyboard have high frames making the lighting flow like butter. With the mini display, I was nervous that you might need to be a in a specific angle to get a view on it but your normal position should be able to view it on a desk, what I really enjoyed about it is how it supports any image formats including gif and displays them in full color. I bought a keyboard for a similar price at Micro Center which had a OLED screen on the keyboard and it only was able to display in black and white. Very delighted with this keyboard.

+++ Mycket bra kvalite på tangentbordet och jag är supernöjd med känsla och ljud i tryck-klickandet. + Mjukvaran fungerar ok, ljus-customization fungerar bra. - Mjukvaran ber dock om att få öppna brandvägg till kinesisk server. Mjukvaran fungerar även om man nekar brandvägg, men tillåter inte att man laddar ner andras ljus-profiler om man inte skapar konto (vilket jag inte provat). Bläddra genom listor av profiler/animationer/settings är hysteriskt långsamt. HTTP-requests som tar 10 sekunder per sida. -- Media-hjulet är av en mycket lägre kvalite än resten av tangentbordet. Matrialet är plastigt, det känns flimistgt när man vrider på hjulet, och när man trycker på knappen kräver det mer tryck för att sedan kraftigt knäppa till utan nästan någon distans till botten. Varför inte ha samma kvalite som på resten av tangentbordet?? - Mini-displayen har i allafall samma färgschema som tangentbordet, till skillnad från media-hjulet. Tyvärr sitter det klent i sin anslutning. Man måste ta ut 2.4G-mottagaren som förvaras i ett litet fack precis framför anslutningen till mini-displayen (usb-c) för att kunna ansulta mini-displayen. - Färgerna på mini-displayen ser bleka ut från en normal vinkel. Skärmen borde kunna vinklas, eller ha en annan standard-vinkel. Det är orimilgt att tro att någon sitter med huvudet bara 10cm över tangentbordet, eller lutad tillbaks med helt raka armar. - Annat än att kunna ändra bild/animation på mini-displayen så saknas customization helt. Inget annat kan flyttas ändras eller döljas. (Jag tror detta kan lösas med mjukvaru-uppdateringar) - Indikatorer för caps/scroll/num-lock ligger mellan numpad och resten av tangenterna. Ljuset är start och går inte att ljustera. Mycket märkligt då allt annat ljus går att färg-ändra och ljusjustera eller släcka helt. Dessa ljus blöder dessutom in i andra färger. + Använder man inte mini-displayen så tycker jag det går att dölja snyggt med medföljande plast-panel.

Vi devo dire, vi devo dire, che questa tastiera é proprio ottima. Ho preso il modello con i tasti yellow e la sensazione quando premuti é goduriosa, sono ormai quasi due anni che la ho e la adoro. Lo schermino é molto carino, il software é abbastanza intuitivo per modificare i vari led nella tastiera e l'animazione/immagine nello schermino. Piccolo avviso, se vedete male lo schermo potrebbe semplicemente essere la presenza di una pellicola che non sembra una pellicola ma lo é. Ve lo dico perché ho contattato direttamente l'assistenza di epomaker e ho fatto una brutta figura xD. Per il resto super responsiva, io la uso cablata per la massima performance ma ho provato anche il bluethoot ed é eccellente, soprattutto se utile per voi se avete piú dispositivi dove usarla. Nota a margine, il cavo é di una qualitá incredibile. Non so che altro dire se non super consigliata!!

Es increíble, yo no conocía la marca y hasta el momento la recomendaría al 100%: el teclado tiene buena calidad, lo uso todos los días y no he encontrado ni una falla mecánicamente o desgaste en las teclas. Yo tuve algunos problemas con la instalación del software y he notado que algunas veces la mini pantalla enchufable hace cosas "raras" con la información que presenta, sobretodo cuando tiene mucho tiempo conectado. Pero, yo no diría que son temas por los que no lo compraría de nuevo. Buen teclado!

The keyboard is in my opinion a mid tier mechanical keyboard. I have it for 3 days right now therefore I cannot speak to longevity. The keyboard is good looking and is sturdy without too much flex. Keycaps are also great and they feel good as well. Typing sound is amazing (at least coming from gaming keyboards which where more clicky and with a worse sound). Layout is great for me but this depends on what anyone is used and likes. I personally love that there is a numpad which you can use for work. The screen. It is a small screen which is more like a gimmick than having real use and I am not sure if it is helpful for anything. I personally like it, but IMO it is not the main selling point of this keyboard. What was impressing is that I expected a worse resolution with pixels being easy to notice, but unless you get to close which will never be the case, you can never see pixels. Battery life is good, but I would like to see that in the future. It can have up to three bluetooth connections which is neat if you are working with multiple PCs. The cable that comes with the keyboard is very good quality and very nice to the point I am considering of having it continuously connected with my docking station. The application is okay but nothing to talk about. This is software so it really depends on how much they want to improve on it. To sum up. It is an amazing keyboard, with nice typing sound, easy to type and with beautiful looks. If you are looking for a keyboard at around 120-130 euros in my opinion it is a far better option than any big gaming name, although this is highly dependent on what you like.
