This bug zapper works great both indoors and outdoors. The LED light attracts mosquitoes, flies, and other insects, and the zapper quickly gets rid of them. It’s easy to plug in, simple to clean, and the waterproof design makes it perfect for my patio, backyard, or home. I’m very satisfied with it and would definitely recommend it.

I got it for mosquitoes, but it also gets lots of other critters.

If you have fruit flies or flies in general and your house this bug zapper is very well worth the money very effective turn it on and it does its job it has no noise can act like a night light as well

Great attracting bugs, but cleaning brush doesn't last. Need a small, stiff brush to continuously clean electrified grill of bug debris. Bottom cover removes easily to dump loose debris. Overall, Zapper does a great job of clearing an area of insects.

Love it!!! I have to clean it out every day. It's very effective as summer is coming on in Texas. Easy to clean. Very minimal noise. Kills all kinds of bugs. Does not take up a lot of room, just plug it in and it's ready to go.

It's an old school bug zapper. Not sure if it makes much of a difference but still fun watching them bugs get zapped!!

I was looking for a bug zapper that had an LED UV light source because LED's don't contain mercury and last much longer than traditional fluorescent bulbs. The box says "Safe for enviroment No hazardous substances". I'm not sure what their enviroment is but, in my environment, mercury is considered hazardous. This unit is described as having an LED light but that refers only to a while light on the bottom of the unit. To attract insects, It has a fluorescent UV bulb that they recommend you change once a year. The white light is supposed to put out 5000 Lumens but it only puts out a small fraction of that, perhaps 500 Lumens. The instructions also suggest you don't use the white light when you're trying to kill bugs. They also suggest you hang the unit between where you want to be and where the bugs are coming from. My interpretation of this is that you should use this as a light or as a bug zapper but not both at the same time or in the same place. If that's what you are looking for, this is a good quality unit that should work as well as any of the other UV fluorescent light based bug zappers. If they had described it accurately, I would have given it 4 stars.

Excelente producto para controlar en horario nocturno las poblaciones de mosquitos, moscas polillas voladoras. Tiene una forma estética como de jarrón que puede parecer parte de la decoración. No recomiendo usarlo al exterior en horario nocturno porque atrae y aniquila muchos tipos de insectos voladores beneficos. El cable es de 1.5 metros de longitud y podría ayudar si fuera un poco más largo.

Unfortunately, I do not know how to upload the video to show what it does: but when we turn it on, you can see the electricity going through the resistances even when no fly gets in contact with it. Also, it is making a huge noise as electricity is being conducted all the time as if there was an insect (even there is not). I do not know if it is defective or not, but we had to return the item as a person could get hurt with it.

FUNCIONA MUY BIEN. Lo tengo en uso en Yucatán, donde los mosquitos que pican, son muuuy pequeños y muchas veces no se ven a simple vista, sin embargo, la lampara los extermina sin problema. ES RESISTENTE. Mi esposa lo tiro desde la barra desayunadora Y NO LE PASO NADA!!! Yo pense que la lampara se iba a romper o dejaria de funcionar y no fue asi, sigue funcionando de forma normal. LA LAMPARA LED que trae en la base, alumbra muy bien, pero para mi es de poco o nulo uso. EL RUIDO es considerable a la hora de que electrocuta los insectos. Los primeros dias, mi perra se asustaba cada que mataba un insecto, pero poco a poco se fue acostumbrando. A mi todavia me cuesta un poco de trabajo, ya que cuando estoy descansando y la lampara a mis espaldas truena, si me hace brincar a veces. Pero bueno, ya es cosa de cada quien. En general si la recomiendo y si la volveria a comprar.
