What is the different between this and M21?

M7 is a show car GLAZE. It has absolutely no protective properties. It's primary purpose was to create an out of this world shine for show cars which you would top with your high end wax or sealant. M21 is a synthetic polymer SEALANT. It has protective properties that will protect your paint from UV, acid rain, and industrial pollutants for months if cared for properly. You could use M7 to polish your car, then use M21 to protect your paint. According to Meguiars, they have improved the formula of M21 to give off a better shine than previously.

Does it restore headlights better than plastx ?

No, although in theory not harmful to headlights this will not do much to restore a headlight. If you are looking to restore headlights you really should consider PlastX or one of our Headlight Restoration Kits.

Does this contain abrasives or no abrasives? Reviews/comments have conflicting info. Please advise! Thanks!!

Ignore the responses and check Meguiar's website or their online forum. There are no abrasives in M7. It is not a polish. It is a glaze. Meguiar's has products that are polishes and they are called polishes. This is called a glaze and not a polish for a good reason - see where I'm going with this? :) While there are many different descriptions of a glaze used by different companies, Meguiar's suggests this as a final layer (on top of wax or sealant) just before a car show, to fill any microscopic scratches but it will not last as long as a wax or sealant. Because of the large amount of oil in this product, it will fill in the scratches and really give that 'liquid smooth' look but it won't remove the scratches. That's what a polish does. They also suggest this be applied to single-stage paint so the oil can add depth of color back to the paint after compound or polish and before wax or sealant.

So, 21 or 26 after 7 application?

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt. Die Ergebnisse sind top. Mit einem 1/2 Liter schafft man ca. 6 - 8 Fahrzeuge mittlerer Größe. Man sollte aber mit der Dosierung aufpassen. Lieber etwas weniger auftragen als nachher zigmal nachreiben. Vor allem nicht in der Sonne verarbeiten, sonst gibt es Schatten , die sich nur mit Mühe entfernen lassen. Da sollte man mit einer Maschine mit kleiner Drehzahl ( 1200 - 1500 Umdrehungen ) herangehen und ein wenig Gefühl mitbringen. Eins sollte dem Endverbraucher klar sein: Es ist keine Politur im herkömmlichen Sinne. Da ist der Remover Swirl der gleichen Firma vorher anzuwenden. Alle glotzen aus der Nachbarschaft nur herum, wenn jemand sein Auto bearbeitet. Wenn man aber fertig ist , fragen alle , ob der neu lackiert ist. Das sagt alles.

Restores dull, faded single-stage paint

I used this on a 1970s Pepsi vending machine and it worked extremely well to restore the colour and shine to the dull, faded paint. Highly recommended for single-stage paints.
