Single Electric Blanket

I bought this underblanket heater to help warm up my bed on those chilly nights especially now that we're in winter and for me has been a saviour. The three heat settings it has gives flexibility for if you want just a little heat or a lot, me personally I go for the highest heat setting as it's not overpowering and feels just right for me. I have a double bed but went for the single blanket size only because I want the advantage of having a cold side if I ever need it (picky I know XD). It's a plus that the blanket is also machine washable once the controls have been detached. That's been handy as I know someone else that has a different underblanket that is not machine washable so for hygiene purposes this is a huge plus. The sleep timer function on it is also great as I don't have to worry about waking up to turn it off and the overheat protection means that I can also be at ease knowing there isn't something I have to worry about. If I had to be picky there are a few things to note such as the blanket itself isn't super thick, so if you prefer a plush heavy like feel that isn't there but personally that doesn't matter to me as I prefer the lightweight feel and durability of it. Also there are no design options all you can get is a plain white colour. But for what the blanket aims to do, which is to warm up your bed and give a comfortable, consistent level of heat, it delivers super well on these aspects especially for those cold winter nights, so I would highly recommend this if you're considering something like this.

Had to replace my old leccy blanket after many years of solid service, and this replacement is perfect. Heats up very quickly, is a good size and covers the mattress, and you cannot beat the comfort of climbing into a cosy warm bed after a day of wintry conditions up here in Scotland. It really is like a big hug! I get such a good, deep sleep. The controls are easy to manage - just switch it to high for a quick warm-up, or low if you just want to take the chill off. There's medium too and that's comfortable enough to use while reading. I've had to turn the blanket upside down and top to bottom so that the connection is at the top of the bed to the left so as to be able to plug it in, so bear in mind that the cable and the hand controls are at the bottom left of the bed if you're standing at the foot. The blanket came in just the manufacturer's box which was damaged in transit, so I checked the blanket was working properly and no wires were damaged before putting in on the bed. Didn't want to end up fried to a crisp! You might want to ask that it's packed in an amazon box in case of damage en route. Good buy for the price and I'm very happy with it.

I live in a very cold house. I researched so many electric blankets and trawled through all the comments and feedback. I wanted a single electric blanket for one side of my kingsize bed. I’d already returned one from a well known brand as it was so narrow - at the most single camp ex size! I then trawled Amazon and came across this electric blanket. I can’t recommend it enough - fits one size of my kingsize bed exactly - the control handset is also at shoulder level exactly where I can plug it in - and it is so easy to use the timer (even for me lol). I can put it on for 2 - 4 or 12 hours - have it on low, medium or high. And once it’s heated the the time chosen it switches itself off. It’s been a godsend and kept me so warm and cosy in this very cold weather - especially as I’m getting older, I’m feeling the cold more. Plus we don’t have to put the heating on at night. The only thing I can’t comment on is that I haven’t washed it yet. Money very well spent,

This is honestly something I should have purchased years ago. I mainly bought this electric double heated underblanket to keep warm during these very cold nights, and it has been first class at doing exactly that. This is my first electric underblanket and I’m very impressed with how comfortable it is to lie on. It covers around three-quarters of a double bed, and as someone who is 6ft tall, it comfortably reaches from my feet up to my shoulders. It stays firmly in place thanks to the straps, which hold it securely without any movement during the night. I’ve had a lot of surgery over the past few years, and I find that heat really helps — this underblanket has made a noticeable difference to my comfort. I was initially a little worried about timers, but I didn’t realise it has its own built-in timer, which is brilliant. I usually set it to medium heat for 2 hours, and it has worked perfectly every time. Overall, this has been a fantastic purchase and has made my nights much more comfortable. I would highly recommend this wonderful product to anyone considering one.

Great value - Fast pre-heat setting - Wonderfully comfortable all-night (LOW) setting, BUT the super-safe electronic controller demands that it is MANUALLY switched on every night. You cannot just plug it into a timer, So it is super-safe but not super-convenient.
