Worked as expected without issue
Simple high quality CMOS battery for laptops and other SFF computers. Easy to install, the back has a sticky pad included so the battery doesn't shake or dange where it shouldn't. The sticky pad is sticky enough to keep sitll, but not so much that it can't be removed. Great easy option.

Revives Old Dell Laptops with a Simple Fix This little CMOS battery turned out to be exactly what my older Dell Latitude needed. My laptop had started giving the dreaded "time/date not set" message at every startup and sometimes struggled to get past the BIOS screen. Swapping in this replacement solved the issue right awayโboot times are normal again, and no more BIOS clock resets. The battery came pre-wired with the right two-pin connector, which made installation straightforward. On my Latitude E7440, it was just a matter of opening the back cover, locating the old CMOS battery, and plugging this one in. The fit was snug and secure, no soldering required. A couple of things to keep in mind: this is not a universal fit for all laptopsโitโs wired specifically for certain Dell models. Be sure to double-check compatibility before ordering. Also, while the battery cable is long enough for the Dells Iโve worked on, the wire is fairly thin, so take care not to tug too hard during installation. Bottom line: If youโve got an aging Dell Latitude or Alienware throwing BIOS errors, this affordable CMOS replacement can breathe new life into it without a trip to the repair shop.

Does not work for Lenovo E16 Gen 1 Intel (without major surgery)
This does not work for a Lenovo Thinkpad E16 Gen 1. I was able to replace the plug from the old battery - ensuring the positive and negative matched the configuration - but I wouldn't recommend this to others. The battery type matches but the polarity and plug size do not match. I couldn't find one specifically identified to work with an E16 Gen 1 with Intel, and just confirming this one is not a good match.
