How long do batteries last on full charge

Not used them to exhaustion - well over 3 hours

what do handsets look like as the pictured ones are baofeng?

As far as I can see from the ones we bought, they are Baofeng walkie-talkies. They are labelled "BF 888S PMR446", also known as "BF-88E" , which is an EU-complaint variant of the original BF-888S model. They've just been rebranded as "Nineaccy". Unlike the original BF-888S model, these walkie-talkies do not have removable antennae.

Do these communicate with walkie talkies by different manufacturers? Is it possible to turn off the privacy codes?

I’ve had a few differing sets of these. They should be programmable to frequencies you want to use. I say should As my last pair purchased to replace one damaged unit from a drop, wouldn’t program what ever I tried. Previous ones no issue at all.

Can you use scan mode without having to program it
