Amazing paints
I was to hasty on my review. After playing around with the paints I figured out the cracking was due to my thinner. Love the paints

Improved Color Selection and No Re-Activation
Nice improvement over the original Speedpaints. The new colors + metallics are great as well as they seem to have fixed the reactivation issue some painters (not myself) encountered. If anything, they dry alot faster now.

I really like the product, but
I hate how I can’t use the label nor color of the bottle to tell what color the speed paint will dry as. Anything I find online only has a few colors.

Not great for tinting a basecoat; don't get rid of your 1.0 speedpaints
Version 1.0 speedpaints were better for tinting basecoats than these 2.0 paints. With 1.0, I could put down a silver basecoat and tint it with whatever color I wanted, such as tinting with yellow to produce a gold, or creating vibrant metallic colors with the various red, blue, green, etc. When I cover the silver basecoat with these 2.0 paints, I can hardly see the metallic basecoat and sometimes can't see it at all (it comes out almost exactly like painting over light gray)--at least undiluted out of the bottle (which is how I used the 1.0 paints). As a result, I still find myself using my 1.0 speedpaints when I want to tint rather than cover.

Perfect set!
My son is an avid painter or warhammer models and all the colors are amazing!

I finally broke down and fixed the most irritating thing about speed paint labels/bottles.
I have heard folks complain about the labels and bottle color not matching the dried paint color. Some folks have referenced color splotches online ( very limited) and another video I saw a person painted marine heads and glued to the top of each bottle. I had an easier fix. Hope it helps

Use regular warpaints instead
Not a fan of the speedpaint series. Not as good as advertised. “Just dip the brush and paint in the lines.””1 coat solution” it acts like a wash and does fill in cracks and detail features, but sometimes it pools in other spots and looks terrible. I emailed the company directly, asking if i could swap this for their regular warpaints, (which are top quality. but they wont do anything to assist because it was bought on amazon.Take the extra time and use regular paints if you want quality, and dont expect any kind of support if you have issues with these. It became a $150 lesson on what not to use.
