LOVE!!!
Overall, obsessed with The Chair! As a mom of two, two and under I researched the high chair market extensively! We bought the Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair for my oldest and honestly never really loved it. Since I knew I’d have two in high chairs at the same time, I wanted to switch it up for the baby. The top three things I was looking for in the new high chair was 1. Safety (obviously) 2. Ease of assembly/cleaning 3. Child access/comfort/tray removal. The Lalo Chair checked all of these boxes - it is made from sustainably sourced FSC wood and non-toxic plastics, I was able to put it together in less than 10 minutes, the tray is dishwasher safe & seat is easy to wipe down, it comes with a seat cushion for comfort, they tray is easily removable with the side snaps - not to mention it’s aesthetically pleasing & the blueberry color coordinates with our kitchen perfectly! My favorite feature would have to be the grow with you capabilities - the ease of swapping the footrest over vs. having to take the whole chair apart nearly once a month to adjust as you need to do on the TT chair - then option to convert to a booster chair & eventually a play chair! My only wish is that it held more than 30 lbs as the weight limit as a high chair as that max will maybe get us to 2 years old before needing convert to the booster setup but great that Lalo offers that option! We are officially Lalo converts & will be purchasing more products for our home!

Solid Modern Chair
We got this highchair for our eleven month old. Here are a list of pros and cons we found with this high chair. Pros: • Simple design, easy to build • Clean (washable); not a lot of nooks and crannies for crumbs to get in • Tray is extra long, so our suction cup placemat plates fit easily • There’s a nice foot rest for baby to put their feet on • Convertible kit to modify chair Cons: • The legs stick out pretty wide; easier to trip over and takes up a bit more room • It’s not an ergonomic high chair, so our son initially leaned back quite a bit while eating (the seat cover does help a little bit with this issue). We don’t buckle him in which helps him sit up straighter as well. Lalo does have an infant support accessory that you can purchase that would help alleviate this. • The straps are white, so they can get pretty dirty. Again, we didn’t use the straps to begin with, but wanted to make a note Overall, this is a beautiful and simply designed highchair. We do love it, and think the washable feature is wonderful for little ones!

Easy to Assemble, Clean, & Beautiful- Check! Check! Check!
I love this highchair! I have tried many highchairs throughout the years with my three children and this is by far my favorite. It is SO easy to assemble with minimal steps and simple instructions. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble from unboxing to the highchair being ready to go. The cushion is very easy to put on and take off to clean (note, you do not need to disassemble any part of the highchair in order to do this, unlike the Tripp Trapp cushion which I have also owned). My baby seems comfortable in the straps and has enough room to easily grab her food and eat. The tray wipes clean easily, as does the foot rest. I do not find that the legs take up too much space. The highchair is light enough that if you need to move it around, it is not cumbersome to do so. The highchair is obviously aesthetically pleasing which is a bonus and the cherry on top! I am looking forward to my daughter growing with this chair and purchasing more Lalo products!

Quality built to last and grows with your child
Let me start off by saying this hasn’t been our first high chair but we wish it was! With 3 kids we’ve gone through our share of high chairs and the Lalo high chair has been our favorite by far. Upon delivery we were genuinely surprised at how well the product was packaged. That simple attention to detail made unboxing easy and all peices came in perfect condition. The instructions were simple and clear, with only a few steps the assembly was a breeze. We love that the chair is lightweight but very sturdy. Definitely no wobbling legs. (Other brands we had tried had wobbling legs that were uneven and too easy to knock over!) We are also very happy with the 5 point safety harness and removal padded cushion which makes feeding time that much easier. The Lalo high chair has a Simple design, is beautiful to look at, and so easy to clean. What’s not to like? You can definitely see the quality of how well it is made. Our overall favorite feature is that the Lalo high chair will grow with our child. (Different leg rest heights) We appreciate that without the feeding tray the Lalo high chair fits under our dinning room table and allows our little one to sit at the table with us at the perfect height. (Other brands didn’t allow us to do this. The high Chairs would not fit under table leaving our child too far away from the table.) The best part of it all is that the Lalo high chair will turn into a play chair that can be used in our playroom later on. This speaks volumes since we all know how quickly kids grow and out grow things we buy for them. The Lalo high chair allows for years of usage and time to be well loved. We are very happy with our purchase and look forward to making memories around it. We really wish we had these with our other kids so we could now have a set of play seats in our playroom. (Guess we need to get the table and play chair set now!)

Short, difficult tray, difficult straps
Just received this today and set it up right away. After first use, here are my honest thoughts- Pros: -aesthetic, love the green color -easy to assemble -can use with or without cushion Cons: -it’s really short. Comes to my mid-thigh and I’m only 5’6” -The tray is not possible to put on or remove with one hand. All high chairs I’ve used before have a button latch at the front on the tray for easy, one-hand removal (especially while holding baby with the other hand). This high chair dang near tips over if you aren’t using 2 hands and a foot to hold it in place when removing the tray. The latches are on the sides and they’re difficult to release to remove tray. -The straps are difficult to put on baby. They don’t have a buckle front (like a carseat) so you have to slide baby into them, and pull up from baby’s hips…. honestly way more difficult than needs to be. Overall- This highchair looks nice, but wouldn’t necessarily recommend. The cons are really big, funcuntionality-wise. May update review after more uses.

Food Fighttttt
First off this highchair is beautiful to look at!!! The black and natural contrast is just what we needed. The ease of clean up is also a plus. My husband even likes the look of the Lalo highchair. He takes pride in keeping it clean and presentable in our kitchen. You don’t feel the need to hide or store away. It’s an addition to your kitchen decor - especially when you have little ones. As for the cons - unfortunately, our legs are uneven and the highchair “rocks” when you distribute weight. For the price I’d expect for the chair to be even and well balanced. Our “more affordable” - less attractive IKEA chair is better grounded/ balanced. I’d like to think that we just received defective legs and that not all Lalo highchair legs come this way. Since, we’ve experienced this issue with the long highchair legs, I’m rather hesitant to buy the smaller legs to convert to a toddler chair. Also, the seat cover is great for the really little tykes (I’d say 6 months) but as our little one got older (9 months) and more comfortable with BLW the cushion is removed often for easier clean up.

Tripping over love…literally
Ugh. I got suckered by influencers. I really wanted to love this chair but unfortunately ended up selling after a few months with my first kid. Let me summarize it for you: Pros: - it’s BEAUTIFUL and aesthetically pleasing. The sage against the wood grain is really gorgeous. It really went well with my decor. - the plastic feels fairly durable and well made, no sharp corners! - the cushion material was soft but felt like it would hold up through countless washes. - the snaps on the cushion made taking it on/off without removing the tray a breeze. Cons: - the chair back as too far set backfor my son at 4 months; I had to purchase the infant insert separately. - the tray stains! Pasta sauce and washable finger painting left stains. - the foot rest is not adjustable so my sons feet were dangling - the leg holes are tight! My son was a chonk and it was a struggle pulling him out of the chair after dinner. Honestly, I have no idea how a child over 25 lbs would do in this chair. THE BIGGEST CON: - the wide legs are a SERIOUS TRIP HAZARD! I bought this chair after reading countless reviews saying the legs stick too far out, and people continuously trip over them. I didn’t believe it, thought I was obviously more agile than the average person, but nope! I had several almost falls on the legs, as did my parents. After the third time I saw my mother stumble over the legs I decided to purchase a lower profile highchair. If you have extensive space in your kitchen and a smaller child, this chair “may” work for you. For us, it wasn’t a winner and I cut my losses and sold this chair for 1/2 what I paid. Unfortunately, the resale market is FLOODED with this chair so don’t bank on reselling for a good return.
