Simple, pretty, thinking game
First thing I did was ditch the box. The gameboards, factories in a bag, and tiles in a bag fit in the pouch. In that respect, the game can be taken camping, etc without losing any components. The game itself is fun and requires more strategy than I first thought. Very nice, sturdy pieces too.

Great size for a great game
Azul is a great game and I love the fact I could get a smaller version that I could play on a tray table (I play solo). Good quality components. I like that the boards have notches that fit the tiles so they don't slide around. This would be good for travel as intended.

Easy, fast, tactical, replayable, interactive and not multiplayer solitaire
Pros - Easy to learn and teach. - Fast to setup and play (less than 30 minutes). - Doesn't require a huge table. - Replayable because of the competition among players and the different scoring paths. - Not multiplayer solitaire. The competition among players makes everyone adapt constantly to make the most out of the current state of the board and always be one step ahead of the opponents. Decisions are divided between best for me or worst for them. - The game design is brilliantly simple! Just like in the games Reef and Century Eastern Wonders, the rules here are so simple yet very strategic and tactical (though more on tactical). - I have the Azul mini version. The design of the tiles and the scores wouldn't slide around even when moved. It is also small and can be easily carried around. Cons - It is confusing that there are 2 types of blue tiles, they could have chosen another color for more clarity such as green. There is a blue tile and there is also a blue tile with a bit of white, making it confusing to describe. - I bought the Azul mini version. The box is trash! It is so hard to get the game and also hard to put it back. It isn't the usual "open the lid" type of box but rather like the cereal boxes.

Great for couples. Fun game. Easy to learn
My husband and I love this game. It seemed like it was going to be difficult to play, but we watched two or three different videos on YouTube and it really was very easy to learn and we played several games the first night. So the mini versus the original, I like the mini version because the scoring is on a slide rather than moving a black game piece which can be knocked out of place easily. This game is colorful and has all the same aesthetics as the original game. It’s just smaller. I’m running out of room in my game closet so I’m very happy with the smaller version.

Smaller Cheaper Better
Great game and the travel version is preferable over the standard edition because the tiles lock onto the boards. Plus it costs less.

Worth it
One of our favs, we love to travel with it instead and no longer have to compromise on space.

Great family fun!
Excellent compact version of the game! My only complaint is that the bag doesn’t seal, so the game has to be kept in the original box, otherwise pieces will fall out.

Fun game, perfect little travel size
This is a fun game and perfect little travel size. Colourful and thought provoking. Only downside is the bag that comes with it for storing tiles only has one popper fastener instead of a drawstring, had a few accidents with spilling tiles out so just have to be extra mindful. Would defo recommend.

Azul!!!
One of the best gateway board games!

Excelente juego

Gift from my son to my wife
Son’s review: When I discovered that my mum yearned to play Azul but would not buy it herself, I instantly decided that it would soon be my gift to her for Christmas. However, after a thorough check on various buying options, I found that it was not a game that I could afford to purchase. Disheartened at this realisation, I decided to conduct further searches on different similar games. It was then that I spontaneously found an item that caught my eye: Azul Mini, £19.00. After a complete research on this affordable version of Azul, I came to the conclusion that it was a satisfactory enough game. A few days after Christmas, my mother and I read the rules and played the game for the first time. We both found it an exceptional version of Azul in all different areas, ranging from price to quality. The rules were also perfectly clear and straightforward. The construction of the game itself was also satisfactory. With regards to the game itself, the components are of a quality that exceeded my expectations greatly. It lives up to its purpose of being a travel version, containing 4 sturdy game boards, a small plastic game tray and an ornate bag that contains the intricately decorated plastic tiles. When first shipped, everything is contained in a simple yet colourful box. Overall, it is an extremely fun, enjoyable experience.

Recomendado
