Cold Steel CS-KS-21CC: 2-in-1 Knife Sharpener

When you are hiking, ounces matter. This thing is very light but still does a good job sharing my knives. Make sure to set it on a flat spot and hold it in place as you draw the blade through. Is is just that easy to keep a knife sharp, without dragging around my other sharpeners.

Not as heavy as I assumed but that's not a negative. It's metal and not plastic like so many others. Sharpens small blades well. Great for the truck, backpack, etc.

this works and works well and fast but it does not last. the screws holding in the stones and metal stripped out within a couple weeks of use. granted im hard on items to test how reliable they are. this held up great to rough usage but the screws are a weak point in this item.

The media could not be loaded. This sharpener is built well and the buys are replaceable. Small enough to fit in a pocket.

Not exactly sure why I expected this thing to be way better and bigger than it really is, but I was a little disappointed..It's almost 3 inches long and about an inch tall and about a quarter inch thick.. It's like "stick of gum" sized..I can see how easily it could be misplaced.It has a lanyard hole and a small chain - I suggest using them..I haven't yet found out exactly how this little sharpener is any better than the drawer full of other little sharpeners I have purchased over the years - it certainly isn't any kind of miracle product. It is about as effective as any of the three dollar sharpeners I have purchased, except it cost me about five times as much..Recommendation: Pass.The Ganzo brand multifunctional sharpener (paddle shaped) works better and costs less, but it is much bigger.

This sharpener is well built, compact, and works quickly.
