BEST MUG WARMER I’VE EVER USED!
I LOVE everything about this mug warmer! It FUNCTIONS GREAT and is exactly as described! I love the 3 DIFFERENT TEMP SETTINGS, I love the AUTO ON/OFF feature (just be sure your mug weighs enough to activate it), the CORD LENGTH is sufficient (too many warmers are made with cords that are far too short), and I that FLAT HEATING SURFACE so you can use pretty much ANY SIZE MUG! I also like the BRIGHT RED LIGHT that indicates when it’s on and that I can change temps with the SIMPLE push of a button. It HEATS UP FAST and keeps my coffee at the PERFECT TEMP all morning long! I don’t use the timer feature so I can’t comment on that, but, regardless, you can’t beat all those features for just $20 — it’s definitely a GOOD DEAL on an EXCELLENT PRODUCT!— reviewed by a real live person in the USA, not a bot or fake account

Good value
Good purchase. Works as intended. Multiple settings for temperature. I can sit my ceramic coffee mug down and it’ll warm the contents back up. Be mindful that the bottom of the cup can get very hot. Good value for what I paid.

Excellent Beverage Warmer
I bought one without the cup and I liked the design so much I bought another one with the cup for my mother-in-law. The heating look great on my IKEA glass surface computer table. It has a weight sensitive on/off switch on the bottom which activates the unit when a cup is placed on it. Remove the cup and the unit is powered off. I really like this feature. I've had beverage warmers in the past that had manual on/off switches and I was always forgetting to turn the unit off.The unit does not get too hot and depending on how hot you like your beverage, you might want to use a lid. I find that a silicone cup cover keeps my coffee or tea just like I like it. The lid does collect moisture and sometimes drips a bit onto the surface of the unit, but the unit cleans very easily with a damp cloth or paper towel. One con is that the cup barely holds a Keurig pod's worth of beverage. If you use a bit of milk in your coffee, the cup is going to be full to the brim. If I were going to use the cup, I would set my Keurig to brew a medium cup of beverage. Since I use my own large cup, no problem. I'll update this if my mother-in-law has any issues with her gift. The power cord length is short. It was long enough to reach from the middle of my table top a power strip on the floor directly below the unit.

nicelucky mug warmer has great features
Received this nicelucky Coffee Mug Warmer Jan. 25, 2022 and so far I love it.I sit at my home office desk working on my computer for several hours every day. I'd had a standard mug warmer (manual on/off switch) on my desk for years that was showing its age so I started looking into replacing it. I found several mug warmers on the Amazon site that seemed promising and this was one of the ones I chose. (I ordered a different one to use in my kitchen.) I'm accustomed to having a cup of tea after each meal and I nurse each cup. I'd bring my after-breakfast and after-lunch cups of tea (and sometimes the after-dinner cup as well) to my desk and sip on it periodically as I worked.I've become more absent-minded of late and on more than one occasion I've forgotten to shut off the mug warmer in my kitchen when I brought my cup of tea upstairs to my office. Sometimes it remained on overnight -- a big waste of electricity and a possible fire hazard. So when I was searching for a new mug warmer for my desk and found many options with an auto shut-off feature, I decided to get a new mug warmer for both my office and my kitchen.I'm using this nicelucky mug warmer at my desk. I like its smooth, flat surface. I like having temperature setting options. I like that it keeps my tea warm/hot for as long as it takes me to finish the cup. I like that it automatically shuts off when the mug is removed from it and turns on again when the mug is put back on top of it. And I'm reassured by it having the feature of automatically shutting off after 4 hours (though I haven't yet had occasion to try out that feature): I should no longer have to be concerned about the mug warmer staying on overnight because I forgot to turn it off.I've only had this nicelucky mug warmer for a couple of months so I don't know about its durability. That's the only reason I've rated it 4 stars rather than 5.I highly recommend the nicelucky mug warmer.

The hottest of mug warmers!
I have searched for mug warmers that will keep my teas and coffees warm enough for my wishes, and have had spotty luck, mostly bad luck. Prior to this one, the warmest one had a light or white cersmic base. This mug warmer beats them all! First, there is no ON switch! I was upset at first, because i was used to turning them on prior to making my peppermint tea, so they would be nice and hot when it was ready! But no switch could be found. When i arrived with my mug, i placed the cup on the unit and picked up the manual to find out there where it was. To my surprise, i saw the light was on! So i took the mug off, the light went out. Back on the warmer and the light went on! So, that i consider a better safety feature than most! Then, reading the directions, i saw the most important feature -- three temperature settings! So it will work for anyone's heating needs! I keep it on the hottest setting (167F), and don't even care what the other two are. Finally, if you leave your mug on it and fall asleep, or go away and forget about it, after a specific time it will turn itself off -- the second safety feature. No other mug warmer has these features, keeps your drinks THIS hot, and is safer, to boot! I am thrill with it, and will replace all my other ones with this!

Works great for my 32oz coffe mug!
I just received my mug warmer over the weekend and had a chance to try it out today. I am very happy with it! I use a giant 32oz coffee mug at work (holds 4 k-cups in it) and my previous mug warmer that I had for about 3 years was starting to lose it's heating power. So I wanted to get another one that would be able to handle my large coffee mug. I found this one and it seemed like it would be powerful enough (25 watts). It definitely works great! It keeps my full coffee mug hot and maintains it at just the right temperature on it's highest setting. Once I get down to about halfway, I can feel the coffee starting to get even hotter, which I can then put it on the low setting and it'll keep it hot enough to finish drinking my coffee without it tasting burnt or old. I just hope it can withstand daily use as I'll be using every day that I'm at the office! One thing to note is that it must have a built in timer for 4 hours and will automatically shut off (which I must not have seen in the description). I don't think adjusting the temperature settings will reset the timer on it either, so you will need to turn it off and back on to have it reset. This isn't really an issue but I'm sure I'll forget to turn it back on when it turns off automatically. I know it's a safety feature so I can't really complain about that. My old mug warmer didn't have a timer on it, and every once in a while I would forget to turn it off when I went home for the night, so I can understand the importance of having the timer built into it.I'll update this review of it I have any issues with it in the long run.

Nice and Lucky if it doesn’t burn your house down...
This review is for the black model, with a power button and two temperature settings.Ok, wow. This is one of those reviews where I honestly don’t have anything thing good to say about the product - just warnings to stay away!UL listed? NOPE - not as far as I can tell. Underwriter labs is a private party that tests products for safety. It is not mandated that items sold be UL listed. They are not a government entity - but it’s a really good idea that if you are going to plug anything in to a wall outlet that it has been certified by UL or one of the other labs for safety. They do a lot of testing of these kinds of products, so if it is “listed” or certified - you are likely safe - or in the event your house burns down and this item were at fault - you have a better chance of insurance covering it since UL works with the insurance industry to underwrite products for safety. My experience was this - I had a hot cup of coffee and since I often get distracted, I will often use a coffee warmer to keep my mug warm for obvious reasons. It was a typical winter morning, so I thought I would enjoy a cup of coffee while I do some geeky stuff in my home workshop. I put my mug on the warmer, which was sitting on my desk, and turned it on 131F. 15 to 20 minutes later I go to grab my mug for a quick sip, and notice the mug felt uneven, as though the warmer was sitting on something and causing it to rock a little...I lifted it up to look underneath and to my surprise, nothing was there. I figured maybe one of the rubber feet were off kilter or something, but when I sat it down on another surface to check, it was suddenly rock solid again... then I noticed a large bulge on my desk top protector, which is heavy duty polycarbonate plastic - I thought “gee, that looks like a big blister!” - So I go to put my hand on it to feel if it was warm or something - and I nearly burnt my hand! It was wayyyyy too hot to touch for more than a split second... Where the mug warmer had been sitting was HOTTER than the actual surface of the warmer where the mug is supposed to go! I got to looking at the bottom of this mug warmer and the label on the bottom is starting to bubble and peel from the heat.Bottom line, this thing is crazy dangerous, and I don’t want my house to burn down. I have another mug warmer that does a better job of heating the mug, and the underside never gets beyond warm, and stays cool enough to touch - it’s nothing special, just a simple on off switch with no timer or anything fancy. It’s almost as though this new mug warmer somehow dumps more heat out the bottom than into your mug. It gets crazy hot out of the bottom. I tried putting it on a silicone trivet, but it still gets way too hot on the bottom of the thing and not so good at doing what it’s designed to do, keep my coffee warm! I’m afraid to use it even on a heat safe surface because the thing itself seems like it could melt or burst into flames.Another thing I don’t like is that is is scary easy to turn on. Like the touch controls are very sensitive, and I have brushed it with my hand before, reaching for something else, and turned it on.I don’t recommend this coffee warmer, I would never gift it to anyone - as I don’t want to be responsible for a possible fire, the value is nil if you can’t use the thing without the fear of burning your home or office down, and though it looks very nice and well made, it does not function in a safe manner in that too much heat escapes the bottom, cooking whatever surface it is on (I use my other, old school mug warmer on the same surface and the surface doesn’t get hot or even warm really) and it is too easy to accidentally turn it on! - they could add a delay to the button press of a few seconds that would help greatly, but if it scorches the desk it is on, not much to gain from that! Please don’t buy this thing, and if you do, watch it like a hawk. Set it on a silicone trivet or something that can handle the heat at the very least! Be safe!

Inordinately pleased with this purchase
I live in northern Minnesota, which should tell you all you need to know about my relationship with hot coffee. We're stoic Scandinavian stock who don't waste money on fripperies like turning up the thermostat; if you're cold, put on another sweater, why doncha. But things get serious when your coffee gets cold in its cup before you can drink it, probably due to your own carelessness in getting lost in your book or forgetting to sip between hands of iPhone solitaire.I purchased two of these mug warmers, one for myself and one for my mother for Christmas, and I am in love. If I might be excused some decidedly un-Minnesotan gushing, this little device is PRETTY GOOD!It heats the coffee from the bottom up, just as the air temperature is attempting to cool it from the top down. The three temperature settings are just perfect, allowing you to set your preferred level of drinkability from "you need a hot-up?" to "oh for nice" to "been on the burner in the church basement for a while".Somehow I managed to resist opening the box with my mom's, but the second my paycheck hit my account today, I ordered a second one for myself. Now I will have one on my desk for working at home, and one for the living room, next to the remotes, candles, chocolate and that big stack of books. No matter how often the four-leggeds drag me to the back door pretending they have to go out, I will have hot coffee. And somehow I know my Swede and Norwegian ancestors are jealous as heck.

Such a life changing, quality of life upgrade!
I cannot believe I've lived as long as I have without one of these warmers in my life. It's taken my tunnelled candles and made them usable again, and it's kept my hot beverages hot. It is amazing when I have a cat (or two... or three...) on my lap and can't get up to reheat my beverage in the kitchen. I love that the top is flat to fit all sizes of candles and mugs, and it has three heat settings that are honestly perfect for candles and for drinks. My only complaint (if you can even call it a complaint) is that the button sound is a bit loud when you go to change your temperature. It's definitely nothing unbearable though! If you're looking for something that works with candles and mugs this is the product for you! Definitely worth the buy!

Absolutely love it
Works wonders, can't believe I waited this long before trying one out. It's easy to use, turns on/off based on whether there is the weight of a mug on it. It has 3 settings (131F, 149F and 167F) which work great, and are retained after turning it off/on again, like when picking up your mug. It works best on flat-bottomed mugs, works well-enough on narrower mugs, and works somewhat on larger, dome-bottomed mugs. The range of settings should please pretty much anyone, especially paired with mug choices which can allow you to go from lukewarm with a dome-bottomed mug at 131F, to "fresh out of the pot" hot with a flat mug at 167F. Note that if you like your drinks SCALDING, like dropping boiling water in a mug and drinking it right away, this won't get your drink to THAT point, but close enough. It has no problem keeping the temperature of a drink and will actually reheat it IF you give it enough time (around 5-30 minutes depending on the size of the drink and the "fit" of the mug)The plate gets very hot to the touch to the point where it can burn your skin if you take off your mug and place your hand on it right away, but it doesn't last too long once turned off, and the sides of it get warm, but still far from scalding.

Cool
Why did I wait so long to get this?! I am a very slow drinker and consequently I always end up throwing my coffee and tea down the drain. Well no more because this is magical. I choose my preferred temperature and I can take all the time I want to enjoy my drink. It works really well, my coffee temperature is perfect and it isn't really expensive at all. I use mine at home but this would be great for work too. The cord length is good, it gives you options for placement. So easy to use!
