Sleep Essential Cooling Foam Pillow – Standard Bed Pillow

The Casper Sleep Essential Cooling Foam Pillow has completely elevated my sleep experience! From the moment I first rested my head on it, I could tell this pillow was something special — soft and comfortable yet supportive in all the right places. What I love most is how cool it stays throughout the night. The breathable foam doesn’t trap heat like traditional pillows, so I wake up feeling refreshed rather than warm or sweaty. The balance of plushness and structure is perfect — it cushions your head and neck without flattening out, which has helped improve my overall comfort and sleep alignment. The pillow also adapts well to different sleeping positions, whether I’m on my back, side, or stomach. It has a high-quality feel and holds its shape night after night without getting lumpy or compressed. Easy to care for and durable, this pillow is worth every penny. If you’re looking for a cool, comfortable, and supportive pillow that genuinely helps you sleep better, the Casper Sleep Essential Cooling Foam Pillow is a fantastic choice! 😴🛏️💤

I waited a while before leaving a review, because I wanted to make sure the pillow actually held up. I’m rather petite, and don’t have broad shoulders or anything, yet I’ve always struggled to find a pillow that is comfortable, supportive, and still allows for airflow. I am pleased to say, this is that pillow. It holds my head and neck where it should and, when I wake up, it’s still holding strong. I know there’s no one-size-fits-all, but if you are a side sleeper and trying to find something, I cannot recommend this enough. My only minor critique is that the pillow protector it comes with doesn’t seem to breathe particularly well (though it may just be that I have gotten too pampered to having everything bamboo and uber-breathable). It was no big deal to order some bamboo ones and, for the amount I’ve spent trying out different pillows, I will take that trade any day. The pillow itself is pretty chunky, so it can be a bit challenging to get standard pillow cases on and off; that’s not necessarily a bad thing, just something to be aware of. At any rate, I have had such a easier time going to sleep and staying there. I even bought my sister one of these pillows as well, she also really likes it. I don’t know how long this pillow will last me, but I can guarantee I’ll be getting another one when the time does come.

I don't know why they have different pillows all under the same listing because it lumps the reviews together. Some of the pillows are listed as down alternative and soft while some are foam and firm so it makes the reviews incorrect and inconsistent. This review is for the Essential Cooling Pillow. First, The listing is incorrect it is not 2 inches thick, it is 5.5 inches thick. I caught this before ordering it because I wouldn't be buying a 2 inch thick pillow. Second, The pillow is listed as firm however it is not firm at all. Your head sinks into it about 3 inches, leaving the pillow about 2 inches thick. That isn't firm. If you are looking for a medium soft memory foam pillow with a nice cover at a moderate price, maybe it is for you. It wasn't for me. I ordered firm because I wanted firm.

We picked up these Casper Essential Cooling Foam Pillows during Prime Day to replace our older cooling foam pillows that had started sticking to the pillowcases. The pillows themselves are comfortable and supportive, but the cooling technology isn’t as ‘chill’ as we hoped—there’s a slight cool feel, just not the strong cooling effect we were led to believe from the description. For now they’re fine, and we’re planning to pair them with dedicated cooling pillowcases to see if that helps keep things more comfortable on warm summer nights.

This is THE pillow! So firm and yet soft. A little too thick but it absolutely molds to you and it becomes super comfy. I’ve only had it for one night and it was the best for side sleeping!!! I sleep so well and my neck felt so supported and relaxed. I’ve had chronic neck issues for years and gone through tons of pillows and finally found the one. It was good to use right out of the box, it is cool and there is no smell like others. Material is firm and soft and feels high quality. I shall see how the firmness holds over time but so far for a one time use I am super impressed.

It was great when new but now after several months it is a flat as cheaper ones from other brands that cost half as this one.

Pillow does cool as advertised. A little thick for me, but still comfortable. Good support.

Objective statements: Appears high quality, no loose threads, nice zipper closure. Material is soft. Size is as you would expect. Subjective statements: Very comfortable to sleep with. Great for side sleepers. More firm than fluffy. Material is very comfortable, and does not trap heat as much compared to regular pillows.

Very comfortable pillow. Highly recommend.

Worth the wait to get this pillow in Europe. Was available in king size for a good price and is definitely worth it.

This pillow completely changed the way I sleep. The foam gives just the right amount of support without feeling too firm. It also stays cool through the night which is a big deal for me since I tend to overheat. I used to wake up with a sore neck and now I wake up feeling rested. I didn’t realize how much difference the right pillow could make until I tried this one. If you’re worried about spending so much on a pillow, I’d like to assure you that getting a restful sleep IS worth it!

This Casper foam pillow feels supportive and well made. It has a firmer feel than a regular soft pillow, which is good if you prefer more neck support or sleep mostly on your side. The cover also feels smooth and comfortable. I like that it keeps its shape better than many basic pillows, and it does not flatten too quickly. The cooling feel is nice at first, although it still depends on the room temperature and how warm you sleep. I gave it 4 stars because it may be too firm or too high for people who like a softer pillow. Overall, it is a good quality pillow if you want firm support and a cleaner, more structured feel.
