However, you should follow these tips to avoid breaking your Pyrex: Avoid sudden temperature changes! Thermal shock from sudden temperature changes can cause the glass to crack or shatter. Preheat the oven first! Pyrex is designed for temperatures typically used in baking, but it can break when exposed to the direct heat element while the oven is preheating. Don't add liquid to a hot Pyrex dish! This can compromise the product's strength and potentially cause it to break. Adjust the oven temperature and baking time! Glass bakeware can cause the sides and bottom of cakes to brown quickly. To avoid this, you can minimize the oven temperature by 25°F (about 15°C) below what your recipe book suggests. You'll likely need to bake it for 5-10 minutes less than the recommended time.

I mean I love Pyrex, but not amazons handling of it. My middle Pyrex was completely shattered. I couldn’t do a refund because then I would’ve had to send back the completely fine other ones. Is there anything I can do about this??? Also the packaging could’ve been way more protective, it was just seperate by thin cardboard. that might be on Pyrex.

This was the best price on Amazon for this set, but it said it was going to take a few weeks to ship. OK, since I didn't need them right away. Each set was packaged in a heavy duty Pyrex brand box, and they were inside a bigger Amazon box so no change of breakage. These are great bowls and the lids don't warp in the dishwasher. Great for freezing and in the microwave. I use these glass bowls instead of plastic because they are leakproof and durable. Very happy with this product and the price!

The 4 cup is perfect. The 7 cup is large, but good to seal leftovers in the fridge. I have many of the 2 and 4 cup containers to store prepared meals in the freezer as the glass thickness is perfect. They are great. Without any doubt the value for the money is excellent as it's a perfect replacement for buying freezer bags.

Very happy. Good to store, but especially good for microwave cooking. Made pasta for one in the 7 cup. Drained it, added the sauce, popped it back in.

Very good product. The lids fit nice. It's packaged well. One bowl had tiny scratches on the bottom so I called amazon. It doesn't effect the function so I decided to keep, so amazon gave a part refund. I ordered two sets and just the one bowl had scratches.
