Q: How long does the scent last?

It is hard to determine how long the after shave lasts. It is applied after shaving in the morning complementing the cologne. Together, they last the whole day.

Q: I've noticed there are color differences which are from opaque to gray-green for the aftershave; the edt products also have different hues. why?

I've never seen an opaque version of Eau Sauvage. To me, it's always been geenish.

Q: How can i discern if this is original. i noticed color variations in both the edt and after shave lotions.

I never noticed. It's always been pale green and each bottle lasts about a year and a half. I've been using this product for about 60 years and like it because it's bracing, smells fresh and doesn't announce your arrival ahead of time.

Q: Is the after shave lotion splash on application?

Hi Suzanne, the after shave version is splash on application. But I believe the Eu de Cologne version is a spray on.
