Contact and Music Sensitive Plasma Ball

This looks really nice and I cant stop touching it ... One star off because plastic used on stand feels and looks too cheap.. Not sure how long it is going to last but as for now I'm happy with it..

Good price, good size and tends to hold peoples attention for much longer than many other gadgets around the Christmas dinner table.

I bought this as my brothers Christmas present.SUPERB. In fact, I wish it was for me. It seems very powerful and really fun to play with. I did burn bmy finger (put a coin on top and put your finger about 2mm away, you create some type of spark) but that was still fun. There are lots of cool tricks you can do with this plasma ball and it's a great present for any kid or teenager really.One negative was that it is supposed to be 'sound activated'. We put it on top of my brothers very large speakers and put the music on but it didn't work. You'd probably need very powerful and loud bass speakers. You can put the thing on the floor and smack the ground next to it, but that's not really 'sound activated'.

This item works with touch, but needs very very loud music to activate on sound.Returned due to this. Most of postage refunded.

We bought this for our grandson and he loves it, especially the sound and contact bit! Well made and quite a reasonable size. The glass globe seems a bit thin, but it's not a toy, so we wouldnt expect a problem with that..
