This card reader works exactly how it should. It reads cards quickly and I haven’t had any connection issues at all. The build quality also stands out. It feels very durable and not cheap or flimsy like some other adapters. The cable connector feels solid and like it'll hold up over time. Inserting and removing the card/s feels secure and you actually know when the card/s is in all the way. The overall size is great and isn't unnecessarily large. Overall, simple, reliable, and well made. Exactly what I was looking for, as it feels significant in your hand, and not weightless and cheap like other brands.

gave me insane speeds for my sd cards. the samsung usb i had would cap out at about 80MB/s. this hits the full 200MB/s speed the card is actually capable of. the samsung usb one that came with the card also would overheat and crash, forcing you to press "try again" 1000 times for big transfers. this one does not do that for me. i like that it has a short cable attached so its not stuck ON the usb port, its out some. easier to use. worked with windows 11 no sweat plug n play. size is good. dropped it once and it didn't break. easily fits in your pocket or luggage.

Slots for both standard and micro SD cards without the need for an adapter. The housing is compact and made of aluminum, not plastic, and stays cool during transfers. The permanently attached USB C cable is durable made with a thick braided material with a stress relief where it attaches to the card reader. But, cable is only about 10"-12" long depending on where you measure. If you are using it with a desktop hub or plugging into a laptop it will work great. The finish is a nice smooth, semi gloss black. Write speeds seem fast but I didn't measure them. Overall I really like this card reader and it is a great value.

I was so excited when I saw with my own two eyes that this 4.0 card reader was at least 3X faster on my own tests than my old card reader. 3.5 minutes for a 35 minute 4K video vs 9.9 minutes for my old card reader. I also like the built in spring lock which assures me it is seated correctly in the slot. Last but not least, I did buy a cheaper card reader the day before which didn’t even work. So was psyched about this one #1 working, #2 working fast and #3 no new software or downloading to get it work.

A high speed card reader as described that has better thermal characteristics than smaller form factor usb sd readers.

I wanted to take video with my IPhone 15 using the Blackmagic Camera app in 4K and then remove the file from my phone to store on a local hard drive. This UHS-II enabled reader made it easy to record and quickly transfer to a compatible SD (256GB) card for storage. Once on the SD drive I could then save the file to an external hard drive, and remove it from my phone. Photos and videos transfer with the File app on the iPhone, and if this reader is connected via the USB-C (charging) port on the iPhone 15, it's recognized when a microSD or SD card is installed in it. NOTE: You are supposed to also be able to transfer files from both the SD and microSD slots at the same time, although I did not try this. There was no heat when transfering the video files onto a PNY UHS-II SD card. It worked exactly as I hoped it would and allows me the ability to easily transfer large files to my Mac Mini. This card reader also works with my iPad, which is the latest version. I'm happy I spent a little bit more for the 4.0 Card Reader, and UGREEN seems like it's solidly built, compatible with my devices, and works as expected with good transfer speeds. I recommend it!

Only half speed of Transcend reader bought 5 years ago, waste my time.

A velocidade é muito superior a outros que já utilizei. O acabamento em metal aparenta ser durável e o cabo trançado dá uma impressão de que não vai rachar ou ceder com o tempo de uso. Recomendo a compra para quem prefere este tipo de adaptador do tipo rabicho, assim você consegue utilizar as portas ao lado, coisa que adaptadores maiores acabam inviabilizando em alguns tipos de computadores ou notebooks.
