Great shut off valve
I picked this up for a water filter attached to my sink. Every time you change the filter you need to turn off the water. Total pain right? This makes it easy. Just turn off the one and you're good to go! I have one attached to my hot one also for my dishwasher. These are easy to install, simple compression nuts. They fit perfect on a 1/2 inch copper pipe. As long as you clean and ream the pipe you will have zero leaks. Don't forget to tighten the nut enough. Functionally, it works great. I like being able to shut off water to if I need to do some work. If you need to split water supply this is a great option.
