This stuff is unbelievable. I've bought many products to preserve the life of Christmas trees over the past 33 years, but this is next level. Nothing has ever worked to this degree. The directions instruct you to add one tablet a week to the tree water to preserve the tree. However, I've had my tree up for 4 weeks and only added a tablet to the tree water the first 2 weeks. Since that time, I have checked the the water level of the tree stand weekly and it has remained full! And the tree has barely shed any needles -- way less than normally. Would love to understand the science of how this works, but I'm a customer for life. I'm stocking-up a supply of this for future years.

Forest Fresh, which we've used for many years, keeps our freshly-cut Christmas tree beautiful for weeks. The first packet, included with a 7' tree we purchased from a forestry professor who owns a Christmas tree farm, made an amazing difference!We add one tablet to our large tree stand every 3 days (rather than 4-5 days) for the first ten days or so, increasing the interval as time goes on. Even after a month and a half, this year's tree took up at least 2 quarts of water a week. That was with outdoor temps as low as 9 below zero Fahrenheit, meaning lower indoor humidity. Despite a bit of drooping, it stayed lush and limber and dropped nary a needle.

This product is SUPER easy to use, easy to store, and a great value. I didn't order this soon enough, and my tree had already been up for 9 days before I started using it. It has done a great job of keeping the needles from dropping, but after 3 weeks, my tree is no longer drinking any water and starting to dry out now and the water is feeling a bit slimy. I think it would have been best to use it from day one, which I will next year.

there are a lot of factors why a tree is dry, the house environment (mine is quite dry), how dry it is when you buy it, etc. The tree was dropping needles all 4 weeks i had it. Did this preservative help it last longer than it would have? i don't know. but it helped pyschologically.

I can tell people this tree food really works. My tree kept sucking up water until the day we threw it to the curb. Will probably get it again next year because it worked so well and it kept my Christmas tree shiny and green.

Used this as directed and results were as if we didn't even water the tree. We got a real tree this year instead of using our artificial one, I was so stoked to enjoy fresh pine smell. Got the tree home and in the stand and in water right away (yes we even fresh cut the bottom once we got home to expose a fresh trunk like we always have with real trees), used these tabs in hopes to prolong the trees "life." But boy was this product a waste. I checked water level daily and added as needed (which ended up not much, so I reluctantly thought another family member was watering it too). But I was wrong. After a couple weeks I noticed the tree was getting dryer and dryer and needles were falling off badly, despite having a full reservoir of water. It wasn't until we took down the tree did I realize how dry it was. I'm glad we use LED lights, or this sucker could've easily been kindling for a house fire!! Never again will I use this product. Back to my tried & true plain water & green food coloring.

We use this every year now. It makes our tree last months with barely any needles falling out. We get our tree in November and keep it until February!

Always a mess after .. sure a few needles fell but not at all like the previous 40 years of real trees .. the tree still looks great after being up for 6 weeks .. so I bought 5 more packages t to makes sure I am good for a few years !!!

First time trying this product this year. Worked great. Our tree is still up after 4 weeks and looks as good as the day we brought it home. Only used the dustbuster once to pick maybe a dozen needles. I’m glad we bought 3 packs because I see it’s now out of stock.

Tablets are much easier to use than the sticky liquid stuff that MiracleGro sells. I'll repurchase.

And also keeps holly fresh for many weeks! Love this product!

Wow, this product did not work well at all. May have even contributed to excessive needle fall. Our tree was max half an hour from cut to setup and always kept topped up with fresh water. We used the brand of round ball liquid in years past but ran out this year. Definitely do not recommend this product.
