These shears are an excellent buy. They are super sharp and do not push the hair as you are cutting. Definitely a great purchase and very satisfied. My ends looked so much better after my first haircut. Amazing.

These are great quality for the price. Husband says they don’t tug his hair when I cut it. They are very sharp and cut smoothly in my hands. Perfect for anyone cutting hair at home, but if you were a stylist I’d flyer something better.

I liked that the product arrived as promised and on time. The shears were very nice especially for the price. While they aren't the really expensive kind I had before they are very nice & well made. Although for some reason I thought they had a tension screw on them. Which they don't. I tested them out on myself and they cut nicely just a little heavy than my hayashi shears I had that were stolen. I'll use them on the few clients and family whose hair I still cut. Again thank you.

... but they work great. They cut right through hair and also ears -- just kidding, I haven't cut an ear with them but I have cut my fingers a couple times. Minor nicks, nothing serious, but you do have to be careful. Still, to me, this is what you want. It makes a big difference in ease of cutting. I wasn't sure I wanted to spend that much on scissors, but in hindsight it was worth it. They have a nice feel in the hand, nice weight, a very shiny and polished appearance, and a nice cutting action. Of course the price has now gone up by about 25% as of today. But honestly I might still buy them for that price.

Aside from the good reviews, the other thing that I liked about these scissors is that they are convex ground. And indeed, they are razor sharp. I could tell that the edge was sharp... and by sharp, I mean that they can be used to shave the hair off your arm, which I was able to do. Even sharper than most high end cutlery. Judging from other reviews, it sounds as if the manufacturer has some quality control issues. Mine were fine. Additionally, I'm not happy that these are made in China. That alone almost justifies a negative review. However, in all honesty, these are some impressive scissors. I will say that I haven't tested the Rockwell hardness. If these are actually in the 58+ range, the cutting edge should last for a long time. I will test and adjust this review if they don't aren't at least 55 Rc.

Although reviews were great for these hair shears mine is unusable. They would have been returned; however, I had not used them until after the return date. I tried tightening and loosening without any success. Super disappointing!

These aren't just great for the price, they're great shears in general. I have been using mine for over a year now, in a professional setting doing 8-15 haircuts a day. They are incredibly sharp. Don't fall into the mindset of needing $800 shears to be a pro. If you can't cut hair with these; you can't cut hair.
