This is a cute little waste basket that fits in a very small space. Perfect for my small bathroom. The lid can lift by hand or with the foot pedal and has a soft close.

I was looking for a trash can that would fit in the tiny gap between my toilet and the vanity, and the TrashAid 1.6 Gallon fits perfectly. It is much more stylish than the cheap plastic ones I used to buy. What I love: • The "Retro" Look: The embossed/fluted design on the side gives it a really high-end, textured look. It doesn't look like a boring utility bin; it actually adds to the bathroom decor. • Soft-Close Lid: The lid closes slowly and quietly. No loud "clang" in the middle of the night. • Pet Proof: My dog loves to get into the bathroom trash, but this lid shuts tight enough to keep him out. • The Inner Bucket: It has a removable plastic bucket with a handle inside, which makes taking out the trash super easy without making a mess.

This trash can is just what I was looking for. It has a tight-fitting lid, so no trashy, bad odors escape. I like the sturdy foot pedal. I use this trash can in my bathroom, and it is small enough to fit right beside the toilet without impeding. I just slip a small trash bag inside. The 4-gallon ones are ideal. They are large enough to fit the can without being stretched, and I can tie the bag up and take out the trash. I take out the trash every day or two. The trash can is a little pricey, but it is built like it will last forever.

Well made, works as advertised, reasonably priced, and looks better than the old one we had.

Bit smaller capacity than I was expecting but she’s cute and works great and keeps the pups outta the trash.
