Pirate Beard and Moustache - Red

Excellent and versatile, we used it for a Gimli (lord of the rings dwarf) costume. Could easily work for a Viking or pirate costume as well. Great piece

The beard worked well for me, although it was too big. I had to safety pin the chin holder since my adult woman chin wasn't big enough. Like any of these fake beards, it loses fibers all over and the mustache hairs get in your mouth. We trimmed the beard because it was too long for what I wanted - a bearded lady costume. The elastics that hold it on your head are visible if you aren't wearing a hat. I fixed a little cap that fit over the bands. Overall it worked great! The color was what I expected. Since I'm not a redhead, I added some red to my blonde hair and that worked pretty well. For the price, it seems to be much better than anything else I've seen. I've worn it twice and it looks like it will hold up should I need it for any more occasions.

Ok, so this is a good beard BUT I had to cut the mustache off bc there was no way my husband could talk, eat or drink with that thing. It kept falling even after I tightened the straps. It did have a nice back on it so the hair doesnt itch your chin or neck. I ended up tying the elastic tighter bc it looks like it's made to go around a bun to hold in place. It was too big for my husband.Overall it worked for the night we used it, after I modified it.

This was the perfect beard for a beardless lady who dressed up for the first annual Dress-As-Your-Favorite-Christmas-Character and bring-a-dish-potluck. Yukon Cornelius at his finest.

The beard and moustache was fun and worked well for my pirate event.It doesn't look as vibrant or as lush as the picture but maybe it just needed more brushing. It's more or a brown color and a bit flat. It's typical of cheap wigs that was a bit plastic-y.For our purposes, it worked well and stayed on our faces. Very itchy but I think that's normal of wig beards. It's also very warm, so great for the winter

I'm a LOTR lady, and wanted to dress as Gimli for Halloween. I ordered this beard for the color and fullness. The beard LOOKED gosh darn great! I just wish that the thousand bobby pins I used to secure it to my head had kept it there. I spent 50% of Halloween unrecognizable, 30% fixing my beard, and 20% pulling the beard down so I could drink.If it's just for looks...it's great!Functionally, it's not great

The product was great and was delivered in a timely manner, the only reason that this does not get a 5/5 review is the simple fact that it did shed a bit more than I expected it to I understand that it is a wig type product but still the product should not have shed as badly as it had.

I have a big head - so one size fits most tends to be... tight at best. This thing can be scratchy and tiring to wear for long periods, but it does the job as advertised and looks like it does in the picture. Eyepatch not included ;)
