Good things come in small packages
I love this little paint set! I originally bought it for my husband who’s a tattoo artist (i thought would enjoy using it to paint some flash) but I started dabbling with it to make some quick paintings to unwind and have co-opted this set. I would say the paint is more like gouache, which I like. I really like how portable this set is, which is great for travel. The black marker is handy for outlining or adding small details. Very high quality.

Definitely different
I am used to the European brands of paints, so these Japanese brands were a new experience. Basically the wet and lay down like any other good quality paint. I really like the rose madder. They re-activate, lift and stain well.
