Are the plates scratch resistant from sharp knives ?

Haven't used anything real sharp on them yet. No scratches from normal use.

I washed everything on the top rack and didn’t notice a difference or any greasy film after going through the dishwasher. Hope that helps!

What is the no-slip function? Is it the grip on the sides or is there a rubber ring on the bottom?

There is only a design feature that I would not call grip but ridges. You can see it in the photos of the item. Other than that there is no “grip” or rubber coating anywhere.
