It worked great with my Xbox and dell monitor. One thing though is if you use it a lot on high gpu games, it heats up a lot. Overall, it works great and I have had no problems

Worked just as expected! Running 1440p 120FPS from PS5 to my monitor (with usb attached to power/PS5 USB port). It does also handle the same resolution in HDR but I don’t have HDR enabled, as I’m not a fan. Compatibility with it’s greats the durability it’s just amazing the value for money just incredible

I bought this to use on my PS5 and 1440p monitor. So far it has working good I am getting 120hz and1440p with HDR on. My only complaint is that the HDMI cable that is connected to the PS5 does get a little hot but everything is working good.

It definitely handles converting high resolution (2560x1440 in my case) HDMI output to DisplayPort monitor input. I tried a cheap, passive converter first but those are limited to 1080p. It saved me having to replace my monitor after the HDMI port on the monitor failed, but monitor also had DisplayPort input. It works great if plugging the HDMI end directly into a computer. However, I use this monitor on a HDMI KVM switch that has EDID emulation. The KVM switch doesn't like this HDMI to DisplayPort adapter. The EDID emulation on the KVM doesn't hold when switching between computers. Sometimes it even takes 20 or 30 seconds for the computer I'm switching to to recognize that there's a monitor attached at all. I never had this issue before with the native HDMI of the monitor (before the HDMI on the monitor went bad). I'm still using this for now, but because of the KVM issues, I'm debating returning it and putting the money toward a new monitor instead.

Ich habe in den letzten Jahren einige Adapter ausprobiert, um ein HDMI-Signal (z. B. von einer Konsole oder einem Laptop) auf einen DisplayPort-Monitor zu bringen – und bin leider oft enttäuscht worden. Entweder wurde das Signal gar nicht erkannt, die Auflösung war begrenzt oder es kam zu Aussetzern beim Bild. Dieser Adapter von BENFEI war daher ein echter Lichtblick und eine positive Überraschung. + Funktioniert sofort und zuverlässig – keine Einrichtung nötig Der Adapter ist direkt einsatzbereit. Ich habe ihn mit einer PS5 und einem Windows-Laptop getestet – beide wurden ohne Probleme erkannt. Mein Monitor (DisplayPort-only) hat das Signal sofort angenommen, sogar in 4K bei 60 Hz. Auch bei Full-HD mit 165 Hz gab es keine Probleme – ideal für flüssiges Gaming oder anspruchsvolle Anwendungen. + Solide Verarbeitung & kompakte Bauweise Im Gegensatz zu vielen günstigeren Alternativen wirkt dieser Adapter gut verarbeitet. Das Gehäuse ist aus festem Kunststoff, die Anschlüsse sitzen stabil und nichts wackelt. Der Adapter ist zudem angenehm kompakt – ideal für unterwegs oder bei wenig Platz hinter dem Monitor. Kein klobiger Klotz, der andere Ports blockiert. + Kein zusätzlicher Stromanschluss nötig Was mir besonders gefällt: Im Gegensatz zu einigen anderen HDMI-zu-DP-Adaptern braucht dieser hier keinen separaten Stromanschluss. Kein extra USB-Kabel, keine zusätzliche Quelle – einfach einstecken und loslegen. Gerade wenn man unterwegs ist oder nicht noch mehr Kabelsalat möchte, ein echter Vorteil. – Kein Audio-Signal am Monitor Ein kleiner Hinweis: Wie bei fast allen HDMI-auf-DP-Adaptern wird das Tonsignal nicht über den DisplayPort übertragen. Das ist technisch bedingt und kein Nachteil des Produkts selbst – aber gut zu wissen. Ich nutze einfach die Audioausgabe direkt über das Quellgerät (z. B. Kopfhörer oder Bluetooth). Vergleich zu anderen Produkten: Ich hatte zuvor Adapter von „Rankie“ und „Cable Matters“ ausprobiert – beide funktionierten nur eingeschränkt oder nur mit externer Stromversorgung. Der BENFEI-Adapter ist der erste in dieser Preisklasse, der wirklich alle gängigen Auflösungen stabil und ohne Aussetzer überträgt – und das völlig plug-and-play. In puncto Zuverlässigkeit und Bildqualität liegt er für mich auf dem Niveau deutlich teurerer Markenprodukte. Fazit: Wer eine stabile und unkomplizierte Lösung sucht, um HDMI-Quellen mit einem DisplayPort-Monitor zu verbinden, liegt mit diesem Adapter goldrichtig. Er ist kompakt, gut verarbeitet, funktioniert einwandfrei und unterstützt moderne Auflösungen – und das ganz ohne zusätzlichen Stromanschluss. Ein kleines Technik-Tool, das genau das tut, was es soll.
