Meross WLAN Switch Works with Apple HomeKit, Smart Switch Remote Control with Siri Alexa, Google Assistant, SmartThings, DIY Smart for Electric Household Appliances

Like the many other Meross kit I already have, this just works perfectly straight out of the box. Simple to wire up and setup. I have a big home and my WiFi is not the greatest but all my Meross products work flawlessly all of the time.

I found the wire connections fiddly to complete as the screws are small but once connected worked well and maintained a stable connection to the wi-fi. Works well with Home Assistant. Probably a little larger than similar makes.

Perfect connection to HomeKit (only 2.5Ghz - don’t try to connect on 5Ghz - it won’t work as it says!!) Completely brilliant - now have an old Victorian lantern that’s smart and programmed on HomeKit to come on dusk to dawn.

The first one of these I bought connected quite fast and worked for a few hours, then it dropped out and needed to be reconnected, I did this and it again worked for an hour or so. Then it dropped out again and wouldn’t reconnect at all so I got Amazon to send a replacement, this one won’t do anything, HomeKit can’t find it, the terrible Meross app can’t find it, it just sits there with a light which is sometimes green, sometimes green/orange, sometimes flashing green. It’s going to be sent back and I will figure out something else to use that isn’t made by Meross. The physical connections on this are very flimsy as well and don’t seem to be attached to the circuit board very securely, maybe they don’t bother as nobody keeps them long enough for those to break? There are a number of people on forums suggesting lots of strange techniques for connecting these but none of them worked for me, the amount of people saying they can’t connect it and saying to stay away from Meross stuff should have also been a warning to me as well. Anyway, back if goes.

TLDR; Thankfully HomeKit has automation, because this switch simply refuses to connect to the Meross app. I've got a couple of Meross products, and they work great in HomeKit but they're always a pain to get into the Meross app. This switch is even worse for that aspect. Eventually got HomeKit on, via HomeKit (and in future attempts, just adding straight via HomeKit was the easiest way forward). This left the device as unbound in app. Couldn’t add it, it said wait 1min but after several it was offline and broke HomeKit. Had to remove and repeat HomeKit setup. After several attempts, tried a tweak, which was set up HomeKit.,Then use a different iOS device to set up in meross app. Left that for about 15m which didn’t seem to do anything, but the first iOS device could now see it, and could do firmware update. But the firmware update was a 1-shot, I've never been able to get the switch to show up in the Meross app ever again. Crimp connectors are tiny, feel undersized for a 10am rating. Stickers covered the important wiring guide, so didn't know it had to be wired in a certain direction at first. The manual shows the in/out -> but when they're covered on the switch itself it looks like you can wire it up in any direction (which you can't). Firmware update takes way longer than their estimate but as mentioned I've never been able to get the switch into their app ever again to look for newer firmware updates. This will probably be my last Meross purchase because it's deeply frustrating setting them up.

Avevo la necessità di attivare una ventola di aspirazione nel bagno in base al grado di umidità rilevato da un apposito sensore integrato in Apple HomeKit. Ho trovato questo prodotto della Meross, e dopo aver letto qualche recensione ho deciso di acquistarlo. Arrivato immediatamente (grazie Amazon!), in un semplice imballo con tanto di istruzioni in italiano. La raccomandazione è quella di installarlo attraverso l'App di Meros, ma si sa.. chi ha voglia di creare l'ennesimo account?! Quindi anche se non mi era chiarissima la possibilità di farlo dopo aver letto instruzioni e recensioni, ho provato ad integrarlo direttamente in Apple HomeKit senza scaricare l'applicazione proprietaria, risultato... funziona tutto alla perfezione! Ho integrato il dispositivo in Apple HomeKit ed ho creato l'automazione necessaria al mio scopo. Tutto funziona alla perfezione. La Meros raccomanda di scaricare la sua App per gli aggiornamenti firmware, ma insomma devo accendere e spegnere una ventola (alla fine è un relé wifi) ed alla sicurezza ci pensa Apple, quindi perché farlo? Grazie Meros ottimo prodotto, da prendere in considerazione per altre applicazioni. PRO Ottima integrazione con Apple HomeKit (basta scansionare il codice) Ottima ricezione wifi (è installato in un controsoffito non troppo vicino al router Facilità di installazione CONTRO Non molto economico, anche se basta aspettare qualche offerta e magari prendere il combo di 2pz

Fonctionne parfaitement avec l'application Meross. Remplacement rapide suite à une défaillance du relais interne après presque 2 ans d'utilisation?. Service client Meross au top !
