This was one of the BEST purchases of summer. We took it to the beach and used it every day for a week. It was light weight but fastened securely to the sand and didn’t blow. It was large enough for my four grandchildren and two parents and me. It repealed water and shook out easily. Putting it away took less than three minutes but was worth it as it snuggled into a small bundle that fits in you hand. We also take it poolside at home and will be using this for fall picnics in the park as well. Loved all the pattern choices.

This beach blanket is a good purchase. I purchased it before our trip to Florida and it came in handy! We did a day trip over to Cocoa Beach and we weren’t aware of the sea kelp problem at the time. There was dried sea kelp all over the beach. With it being dried it had sharp edges. No problem for us because we wore our sand shoes and flip flops out on the beach and set up our beach cabana and this nice beach blanket. It kept our feet from sitting on the hot sand and our belongings didn’t have to sit on the sand. It is very thin but that wasn’t an issue for us. It was easy to shake the sand off and roll it back up. Covers large area. I carried a small brush to help brush sand off the edges prior to roll up.

Really happy with this blanket - it's compact and lightweight, so it packs easily for any beach trip. The waterproof material keeps sand and moisture out, and the corner stakes are a great addition, keeping it anchored even when it's windy. Well-made and functional. Highly recommend!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! We bought 2 of these 11'x9' Wekapo Beach Blankets for our trip to Orange Beach. Six of us used 2 blankets with plenty of room to spare, and a couple of the guys were over 6'4" and 200 plus. We folded the corner pockets over the sand and used the supplied metal stakes to secure the blankets down. They were easy to use and spacious. Sand shakes off easily. There is a bag that stays attached to the side edge of each blanket for easy storage. We just shoved it all in. There is also a black strap with clip if needed that is attached. There is a small matching bag for the 6 metal stakes.The blankets are thin and so easy to pack. All of us thought this was a great purchase and perfect for the beach! They also washed great with no shrinkage in the dryer. They are made well. We used them daily and basically were hard on them. They proved very durable! Great value for the money.

Wow ! This thing is way bigger than I realized and really did it's job. Very stylish and perfect for the beach. We had so much room for our family of 4 ( mind you we have 1 teenager & 1 20 year old ) and everybody fit. Highly recommend. Very waterproof & easy to keep sand off.

Nice, large, soft, looks good and easy to manage with corner hooks. Really easy to carry. Folding with two people is quick. It is water-repelling and easy to shake off sand at end of day. Super handy. Important to know: As the fabric is thin, like a sheet, and smooth, it's maybe better for grass as, on the beach you'll find more sand migrating ONTO the sheet than with a thicker cotton beach sheet. Having used this over this past holiday weekend, I'm not sure I would have purchased knowing that. We do put turkish beach towels etc. down on top, but the sand volume is higher than with our old thick cotton beach blanket.

I own another brand of these and this one is much better! It came with metal "u" stakes which do not pull out of the sand easily. The other brand came with plastic stakes. I also like the weight of this blanket. Even on a windy day, you can get hold of it in order to fold it up and bring it home. With the thinner ones, folding or controlling it is almost impossible as it just billows in the wind. We used it on a very windy day in the Florida Keys and are very happy with this purchase. Note that the 8 x 7 size was perfect for 2 (average size) people lying on the beach, plus a few beach totes at the corners.

We make multiple trips to the beach and this blanket is a must! Sand didn't stick to it, it is cooling and not heavy, and the anchors to keep the wind from blowing it are awesome!

It’s so thin and floppy that sand gets all over it. But otherwise, decent waterproof fabric.
