Does the keyboard cover flap stick to the bottom of the keyboard with case shut closed?

The keyboard cover flap is magnetic and keeps the keyboard in place but it does not magnetize to the case. Love the color and the backstand is covered and protected.

Strong but heavy

Will be better if lighter in weight, make my surface secure but heavy. I thoght it will be made by carbon fiber for light weight and strong, but it was rubber and plastic which make it heavy.
