For household use, there are many choices for soap dispensers made for the countertop but I've gone through a couple of different ones and had problems with them. I decided to try this JETWELL automatic soap dispenser as it looks more like it was made for a commercial environment. Problems that I had with other dispensers were either they were not sensitive enough or they were too sensitive. The IR sensor for knowing when a hand is under the soap dispenser were affected by sunlight and made them almost useless. A tree blowing in the wind changes the light level in the bathroom, and would cause the sensor to go off by itself, causing a puddle of soap on the With the JETWELL, it's a combination of the fact that it is a higher quality product, but also the fact that it is mounted on the wall where I can keep it a bit more out of the way of the sunlight coming into the kitchen that I haven't had these false activation issues. In the box, there are a couple of mounting solutions: there is a mounting plate for screwing into the drywall or a clear mounting plate that has a really strong adhesive to stick to the wall. I mounted this product to a tiled wall so I used the adhesive. It is really strong and I have confidence that it will stay in place. Overall, I'm happy with this automatic soap dispenser in that it's convenient and the kids like using it when washing their hands.

This dispenser functions very well... it is very important to avoid overfilling it with soap. Their customer service department is also commendable. They replied quickly and solve the minor issue I was having.

Getting this set up is a bit frustrating. I don't like that you need a special "key" to open it up. I don't know why you need the soap locked up any way. Often, the key doesn't unlatch it so it won't even open up. -Build quality overall is good. The exterior plastic is thick and looks nice. -The power and adjustment buttons are on the inside which are cumbersome to access because of the aforementioned key problem. The dispenser keeps auto-dispensing as you are trying to open it up which makes a huge mess everywhere. I wish the buttons were on the outside or the back somewhere. -You need just the right viscosity of soap for this to dispense the proper amount. Dawn dish soap doesn't work as it only dispenses a tiny amount. I tried diluting it and it just made a watery mess. -There are 2 wall mount options (screw and adhesive) which is nice. -Once it's all set up and you have found the right kind of soap, it's fine. But whenever you need to refill or change the batteries, it's a pain.

This is a great looking, heavy duty metal soap dispenser. It's perfect to use in guest bathrooms or if you have kids, so you don't need to use bar soap or constantly refill the small countertop soap pumps. It's also much more hygienic. There are two mounting options. One is a sticky back, the other requires screws, and both are included. We chose to screw it to the wall simply because it's pretty heavy with soap in it and we didn't want it to unexpectedly fall off the wall. The only thing that took a bit of effort was finding a soap that dispensed well. I typically buy dish liquid at a club store for my hand soap pumps because I use so much and it's cheaper. But soft soap type soaps work best in this. This dispenser looks nice, functions well, and helps keep things clean.

Works exactly as stated. Great template. I like the option to choose how much soap is dispensed at one time. Holds lots of soap. Be sure it's mounted solid.
