Excellent collar for the dog that pulls
This is a nice looking collar and the reflectivity is very good. It isnโt as effective immediately as a traditional all metal pinch collar but it does help with the pulling and I feel like he pulls less every day. It does not fall apart like the traditional pinch collars do. I feel like it is a safer collar for the dog and will train him not to pull. It is very easy to put on and take off too!

Works GREAT for my French bulldog
I have a 13 month French bull dog. She has a LOT of energy and is uber stubborn. I walk her twice a day, but sheโs been pulling hard. She practically pulls my arm off if she sees a squirrel. My biggest concern was her lunging at cars. Thatโs dangerous. She has not responded to training, and has refused to correct. I bought this in an act of desperation. Medium fits her perfectly. I put it higher on her neck and itโs not super tight. She doesnโt choke when she tugs. She quietly and gently pulls back toward me (when sheโs walked with a normal collar, she will pull into sheโs choking). After the first walk, she stopped the habit of pulling altogether. If sheโs walking too far ahead of me, I gently tug it and she instantly slows down. This gently corrects her without any obvious discomfort. She now walks with the leash relatively taught, but not tugging at me (I have more work to do with her). Iโve only used it twice, but itโs been extremely easy to fit, put on her and use.

A TOOL for training
This made a HUGE difference. I was almost in tears at the difference. The goal is to use it till he learns not to lunge, and then to retire the collar. Sooo I never thought I'd use a prong collar (I'm a complete softie.) But my 65lb bully mix is waaaaay stronger than he looks, and he loves to chase motorcycles, bikes, even wheelchairs (anything on wheels, really.) One time he pivoted and bolted so hard that I spun around and fell into a cactus...lots of bruises and needles. I decided this is a matter of safety. I would never be able to forgive myself if my dog got hurt or someone on a motorcycle got into a wreck because my dog lunged at their bike. And it's completely unacceptable for him to freak out on people in wheelchairs. He's not actually aggressive, but he comes off as such, and I just cannot allow him to behave that way. I was at the end of my rope, and I actually have cried on many a walk with him. I didn't want to try a gentle leader, because I've heard they can cause neck injuries, and I'm almost certain this would be the case with my dog. I have tried a no pull harness with front and back leash connections, and while it gave me more control when he would lunge, it did not stop the behavior at all, so while I felt better about him not choking himself out, it did nothing to deter him from doing it. I considered sending him to a dog school (but my neighbor told me that he didn't get the results he thought he would, even after sending his puppy to school for weeks.) First I wanted to see if this last ditch effort would work before I spent thousands of dollars. It has, from what I can tell. The first night, within about 5 minutes, THREE motorcycles drove past us. The first time he did what he always does and lunged so hard that he was on his hind legs and barking, but he stopped pretty quickly. The second time he lunged, but with way less effort. The third time he had a reaction, but didn't really lunge at all, just pulled a tiny bit. I was in shock, I couldn't believe it. So I took him out again tonight, and he still pulled a little, but then would stop quickly, so he's still learning how to behave on the prong collar. Now (it seems) I don't have to worry about him lunging at bikes, other dogs, or other people; I feel like a weight has been lifted. Now obviously it will take a little time for all this to become a pattern that will lead to him not needing the collar anymore, but it's really the lesser of two evils in this case. It takes a little work to get the collar in the right spot (snuggly below his ears and higher up on the neck, but not tight, so we're working on that.) The collar seems to be high quality and comes with extra rubber prong covers. Sorry for the novel, but I feel like this collar might help some dog owners. I'd say it's like gastric bypass surgery: it's a TOOL you use to achieve desired results. You don't have to use this thing forever. Just make sure you use this collar CORRECTLY. I even did what many others do and tried it on myself. It doesn't feel good, but it's not excruciating, only uncomfortable when you tug on it. Fingers crossed I can retire this collar soon, but I am so happy to have it for the time being. Game changer.

Positive experience.
My experience purchasing this product was great. The collar was unfortunately not what I anticipated. It appears to be a quality collar, but much too bulky for my needs. I am looking for something smaller and less cumbersome. The collar was just too much for the size and shape of dogs. I appreciate the timely manner I received the product. I also appreciate the no fuss way of returning the product. Thank you.

5 star product, 5 star company
This collar is a well-made product marked by durability and comfort for my dog. What really sets it apart, though, is the companyโs superb customer service; they responded quickly and went above and beyond to help with a sizing question. The quality is clearly top-notch, and itโs held up great even with training, regular walks, and play. I highly recommend this collar to any pet owner who values both a reliable product and a company that truly stands behind it.

Works wonders
Now Iโve tried prong collars before and they have worked but my dog has gotten used to it and continued to pull so I was a bit skeptical. Iโve always housed the full metal ones that you canโt hide either. Iโve used it for about 2 weeks and it works wonders. It does slide down a bit because of my dogs slick fur but itโs great and keeps the other dog owners who put their two sense in to say prong collars are abusive away. Great value for your money. I like that it locks too.

Effective training tool, but very bulky on small dog
I was pretty skeptical about prong style collars but the rubber tipped prongs on this one made me feel more comfortable trying it. It worked as intended for training my small dog not to pull during walks, and after about two to three weeks of consistent use I was able to switch back to a regular collar and he is remembering that he should not pull against it. That said, the collar looks very oversized on a smaller dog (20lb jack russel/beagle), which is my only real complaint. Functionally it did the job and our walks are significantly more enjoyable now.

These wonderful collars make walks with our big mutts safe and pleasant.
These collars work wonderfully for our big dogs (German shepherd/Great Pyrenees mixes). They're pretty good on leashes, but are young and were uncontrollable if they saw a squirrel, another dog, a deer, etc. They pulled me and wife to the ground - and dragged us - several times. She cracked her sternum in the last fall. Painful and slow to heal. With the anti-pull collars, the dogs are controllable on leash walks. Sure, they still pull hard when they see something interesting, but stop when they come to the end of the extendable leashes and the collars become uncomfortable. Also, the anti-pull collars make the dogs more responsive to short tugs on the leashes for training purposes on walks. Great product. No gimmick. Highly recommended for stubborn dogs. Walks with our mutts are now pleasant and without risk of serious personal injury! Much more humane than choke collars.

Works good on German shepherd
Works great, I like the extra handle because you can easily grab your dog, I'd suggest size down because size L is kinda big for my German shepherd.

Very effective
I did my homework on the concept of what this style of collar does and now understand how it works. The prongs mimic the mothers jaw/teeth and in dog language this corrects negative behaviour. I love that the prongs have a rubber cap on them and the metal isn't directly in contact with my dog. Since using this collar, my dog no longer pulls and I can control him much better when he see's another animal he wants to chase/attack. I would highly recommend this collar as a tool to help make your walks much more enjoyable.
