One of the Honor Guard M1 Garlands had carbon build up in the chamber area making it difficult to cycle the operating rod. I used this brush to clean the carbon from this area of the bore. As the brush was turned in the chamber you could feel it begin to turn easier as it removed the carbon buildup.

Got these to clean chambers on rifles with limited access from the breach end. They work.

These brushes are inexpensive and get the job of cleaning the chamber done quickly without disassembling the rifle.
