Great for 5 year olds
Great product, bought one for my 5 year old daughter and 5 year old niece and they played with them for hours and hours.

great toy!
I got this for my daughter as a gift and she liked it a lot. but I will say the flashing lights on the bitzze are really annoying but don't seem to bother my daughter too much although once she did say she is worried it might damage her eyes. The controls are easy info for a young child from like 7 and over to use but would not give it to someone younger as the controls are a little fiddly and the screen that displays the animals is very delicate. I was a little disappointed to know there is not much to do after you collect all fifteen pets the only thing that you really can do is feed it play games and pet it or respond to the help messages which is honestly enough and good for £30 but buying a Tamagotchi for £30 you can do a lot more though I do understand that you can literally touch this one which is nice. but overall I think it is good value for money and my daughter does love it. also, I do think even though I said a lot of negatives this is a really cool toy (especially for £30), and that's why I gave it 5 stars. but would recommend bearing in mind what I said to make sure this is the write toy for your child.

Fairly fun but not cheap for what it is. A unique toy.
A present for our 7 year old. She did soon get to grips with how it works and how to navigate through the menus etc but it can be tricky at times. It has an accelerometer so it detects movement and this is how you can interact. Such as rocking the box to send the pet to sleep or tilting forward or backwards for instance. The swipe sensor is also used to swipe between menus. Saying that it is pretty cute to have these small 'pets'. A bit like a Tamagotchi, it will need tending to, such as feeding, playing or cleaning up after it. They seem to evolve very quickly and offer more pets for you to keep in your collection so I can't see this lasting too long before you have all the creatures. There are some games on this too but they are not the best considering this does not have buttons or controllers as such. The light display itself is nice and clear and fairly good resolution so you can easily make out what is happening. I like the clamshell box and it seems fairly sturdy. You would need to be fairly careful with the flapping LED strip since this could easily be bent or possibly torn. Comes with batteries which are still going after a few hours of play.

Great item, suited age 6 plus not completely silent
10 year old niece loved, cousins aged 6 plus played with it and able to work it. Makes a fluttering sound continually as part of image movement- useful to know it’s not silent!

Great to keep them entertained
Has the previous one so the time came to get this version. It's so much fun locking the different Disney characters. It's just like the old school tamagochi from the 90 but in colour and touch.

Good fun with a but
As a user of Bitzee, I've thoroughly enjoyed the unique experience it offers. The concept of having a virtual pet that I can physically touch and interact with has added a fascinating dimension to playtime. The fact that each Bitzee pet responds to my gestures, such as swipes, tilts, and touches, creates a sense of connection that goes beyond traditional 2D screens. Nurturing and playing with my Bitzee pets has been both engaging and rewarding. Watching them evolve from adorable babies to fully grown adults, and eventually to the coveted Super Bitzee stage, has been a delightful journey. The process of feeding, playing, and even rocking them to sleep feels surprisingly meaningful, adding an element of responsibility to the play experience. The excitement of unlocking new Bitzee pets through playful interactions is a major draw. The variety of creatures, including cats, bunnies, unicorns, and more, keeps the experience fresh and captivating. The surprise element of Super Bitzee, with its fun outfits and unique kids' games, adds an extra layer of excitement and discovery. The inclusive package that comes with Bitzee, including the Quick Start Guide, Instruction Sheet, and batteries, has made getting started hassle-free. It's evident that Bitzee has been designed with children's enjoyment and developmental growth in mind, making it an excellent gift choice for 5-year-old boys and girls. However, I must admit that I've encountered a slight inconvenience with the screen system. While the concept is innovative and adds depth to the interaction, there have been instances where the screen obstructs a clear view of the virtual pets. Adjustments are occasionally necessary to ensure an optimal view, which can momentarily disrupt the otherwise seamless experience. In conclusion, Bitzee has introduced a new dimension to playtime that bridges the gap between the digital and the tangible. Its combination of interactive features, nurturing gameplay, and collectible variety has been a source of enjoyment. While the screen system could use some refinement to ensure unobstructed visibility, it's a small caveat in an otherwise engaging and imaginative play experience.
