This works excellent for my slightly over 50 curly hair🎀. I have been using this for the last 15 years and they have changed the bottle a few times and this bottle is new but is the same. You don’t need to use a lot to get the shine. It holds my curls, nice and tight.🥳🎉. I am very sensitive to smells and the smell does not bother me and never has. It is not overpowering, as a matter of fact, I think it used to actually smell like green apples. I love this big bottle-lasts me around 6 months,maybe a little more-or less. You don’t need alot and if you feel your hair gets crunchy, then you’ve used too much. This is and will always be my go to hair gel. I don’t know what I would do if they discontinued it😡LOL

This item is very effective in making my wavy hair manageable and extra hydrated. It holds a wavy/curly shape without feeling heavy or crunchy. Perfect product for me! No weird residue- can barely tell it’s there beyond my curls looking lovely!

Update: This creates alot of product build up on us. I need to use a clarifying shampoo mid week because it's hard to get all the old gel out in the shower. Me and my daughter have really thick hair so maybe that's why it's hard to get it all out. Great for curly hair girls. Can get "crispy " if you apply to much. My daughter likes to apply it when her hair is still very wet then let's it air dry. Then she fluffs it up gently. One negative is that it will flake if you mess with your hair alot through the day. It looks like dandruff. So she doesn't touch her hair much after it has dried.

Paul Mitchell Styling Sculpting Glaze is a must-have for curly hair. I honestly can’t live without it. It defines my curls beautifully without making them crunchy or heavy. The frizz control lasts all day, even in humidity, and it keeps my curls looking polished and bouncy. Plus, the smell is amazing — fresh and clean without being overpowering. This has become a staple in my routine.

This works great on wavy/curly hair. Like so many other folks with curly hair, I have struggled all my life to tame the frizz and define my 2c/3a curls. This is the best product I've found. It's very lightweight and doesn't leave any sort of residue or greasiness like so many other products do. It creates soft, flexible waves and curls with no "crunch." There is a slight fragrance, but it's pleasant, not overwhelming. I highly recommend trying this if you still haven't found the right product for your curls.

I have been using this stuff for 40 years, and I love it. My hope is that I will continue to have hair to put gel in.

Not strongly scented, which is important for me. Worked easily into hair, going in sections, not stingy but not overly generous either. Was planning to air dry, but texture was going sticky, which often happens for me with hair styling products, so blow dried instead and not sticky at all. Held hot iron medium length soft messy curls all day without hairspray, which was the goal. Hair still shiny, which isn't a given after using styling products, so ya, very happy with it!
