Works with Android Auto
I've had a hard time finding a USB cable that's longer than 3 inches that actually works with Android Auto. I have tried several and most of them are not recognized even if they say they are compatible. This one works with Android Auto and the longer one is long enough I can put my phone in a vent mounted holder.

Short Lived
It worked for a few monthsโlikely less than sixโthen the Android Auto connection to my 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring started consistently showing โNo Device Connected.โ

Long enough but stays out of the way
Got two of these for use in the car as I have two USB outlets and have two phone with the same jack allowing me or my family the ability to connect our phones to Android Auto so we can use for Spotify, maps, or simply to charge a drained phone. The length is perfect with the old-style coiled cord and seems to charge quickly. It was a good price for exactly what I wanted and functions as it should.

The Android Auto in my car was sporadic at best even when using the braided cables. Stopped in to see the auto product specialist and he recommend at try these. I got the coiled ones because I didn't want to deal with lots of extra wires. In hindsight, I should have gotten the longer wires because these are not be able to reach my current cell phone holder. I'm just happy have something to get the Android Auto back on track so I can stop getting lost on new trips! I recommend these but advise you to check and make sure they will stretch to your cell phone holder

Very convenient to use
I purchased this cord recently, and I have to say, it has been a game-changer for me, especially when using it in the car. Works sporadically
Purchased in March 2026 for use with Android Auto in 2017 Hyundai and new Samsung phone. Works for about 10 minutes, then stops with a "phone not responding" message. Unplug from USB port and plug in again, then it works for another 10 minutes. Frustrating.

It says fast charge but it's not, says transfers data won't even work in my car absolute rubbish They will be going in the bin

So for ages I've had unsightly cables running to my phone really messing up the car. These coiled cables work a treat and just makes the whole thing so much more functional.
