Superb highly pigmented stick, highly addictive. way to paint oils.
Wonderful buttery smooth oil stick which is easier than having to squeeze oil paint out of a tube. Isince trying these sample sizes I have brought 3 sets and I am an oils tick convert.

I’m an oil painter who also loves to work with oil pastels. I bought Shiva oil paint sticks years ago and they just didn’t do much for me(they are harder, less creamy). I decided to finally try the R&F beginner half stick set as a way to scratch the itch…. & OMG, I’m obsessed. I haven’t been this excited about an art supply in a long time. I just ordered more while they are on sale.. they are pricey but worth it in my opinion. If you’re on the fence, just try the beginner pack for less than $20! These are so so creamy!! Heavenly !!

These things are unbelievable. I also use Shiva Paintstiks which I like, but the R&F ones are soft and go on smoothly and like butter. A-mazing! I will certainly buy them again. They are more expensive but fully worth their cost. Highly recommend for oil painters. Great product!
