The design of this jug is so much better than the old Marella from Brita.The top of the jug is flat so the water doesn’t leak out when overfilled. In marella jug, the top was curved so I always had a leak by the handle.It looks good enough to be on the worktop, fits into the fridge as well. I have impression it holds more filtered water than marella, but it looks smaller.The top that opens to the outside makes it more hygienic.Filtering speed is slow as usual with Brita, but I’m not bothered. The water taste is excellent, I’m usually very fussy about tap water so this jug makes a difference.

Just what I wanted a jug to fit in the fridge not to big . Easy fillable the indicator to let you know the filter needs changing is better than the last jug I brought flashing green for good .Good study handle and easy lift for refill .It does taste so much better and I love to drink cold water

I am pleased with this Brita filter jug. Looks good, functions well as you expect from this reliable make. Easy to set up, easy to fill. Good to know you are drinking less chemicals & other undesirable nasties.

Really love this jug. A bit more expensive than other models but totally worth it! Other models were ok but I found them difficult to clean in all the nooks and crannies. This one has been streamlined so nowhere is difficult to clean. Would definitely recommend if you can afford to pay a bit extra.

An excellent bit of kit Especially if you live in a hard water area and your kettle cakes up with Limescale?I've non of that business going on since I deployed a water filter into my kitchen.Water also tastes better and it filters a lot of trace elements of pharmaceuticals and other nasties that are often present in water these days.So for me this little water filter is a win, win!!!!

I prefer the old style lcd filter usage thing but it’s no big deal. I go on taste anyway. It will get to a point where I just can’t drink the water that I’ve just poured out. I can drink infinite amounts of filtered water but straight from the tap I’d find it hard to drink a cupped hand full. I’ve included comparison photos as this was something I wished I could see before deciding to go the new version (Style) or stick with the older (Marella). So I hope this helps someone else. 2x improvement over the Marella; no splashing! Every time I filled up a glass or the kettle, I’d need a sponge to wipe the spillage around the kettle and the jug itself. With this new version the poured water has a longer pour. I mean it pours out further from the jug as you tip it. This seems to illuminate the dripping/splashing. Also, when the bottom has filtered water in it already and you want to fill more water in the top chamber to be filtered, when you pour the water out in the ‘Marella’ the unfiltered water could mix with the filtered water, Irritating! Well, in the ‘Style’ jug this no longer happens. The only bargaining feature is that the Marella offers 3x filter cartridges and is ever so slightly cheaper, where as the ‘Style’ only comes with x1 filter. I bought 12 filters fairly recently so that didn’t bother me and now I have the newer version jug, I know I made the right decision.

I have 3 of these. One for the kitchen, to fill my coffee machine. One next to my bed for drinks in the night and for taking medication, and another for my coffee machine in the bedroom. The filters remove all impurities and there is no longer a taste of chlorine, which was my main problem.
