Lo primero siempre es el bienestar de nuestras mascotas (aunque tiren mucho), las consecuencias de su primer uso casi me llevan al veterinario y es que el diseñador de este artilugio no tuvo nunca en cuenta que al usarlo.: 1.- La banda pasa por los ojos de nuestra mascota, tire o no tire algo que le debe molestar bastante e irrita enormemente sus ojos 2.- Es muy, muy molesto para cualquier animal con solo colocárselo. 3.-Su diseño no está completo, no está comprobado, constantemente se sale de su hocico 4.- Si el perro tira le da tal apretón que solo puedes ver a tu mascota sufrir, lo definitivo fue que en uno de esos apretones se pilló la lengua, cosa que es más fácil de lo que uno pueda creer, afortunadamente aún la tiene pero estuvimos a punto del disgusto total. No suelo escribir reseñas, menos negativas, pero por favor NO COMPRÉIS ESTE ARTILUGIO, tu mascota merece un buen trato y gente que aprenda a diseñar según su bienestar no inventores de medio pelo.

I bought this for my 2 year old border collie who has pulled on the lead so hard that her grandpa refuses to walk her because he said 'she'll pull my arm out!'. She has a strong herding instinct and also plays up at the lights where she gets triggered by the sound of the crossing signal. I bought this halter to try and I'm glad I did. To get her used to it, I put it on her inside the house and then she immediately tried to scratch it off so I took her outside and gave her an almost non stop line of treats whilst walking her a few hundred metres and back. She walked like a dream! No pulling. I find that it works best when I keep her on a very short lead and combine that with a command to stay 'by my side' which was something she just went off vibes on before this halter. Now she does pull but just not as hard. If I give the lead a gentle tug when she's pulling a bit too much she regretfully stops pulling for 2 seconds and then tries again. My tips are: Make sure it fits properly and not too losely around the back of the dogs head (imagine putting it on without giving the dog a migraine) and then put at least 2 fingers through the snout bit so the dog can start panting or breathing freely with it on. Maybe match with a short lead to begin with and keep an eye out for the dog diving into bushes to try and push it off as it won't be a loved accessory.

I love this, to the same extent that our adolescent puppy hates it! He complains and tries to pull it off at the start of each walk. But after 100m of stropping out, he is walking beautifully to heel.
