She loved it
Our 21 year old cat needed to move to a renal diet. We bought a taster pack containing various brands (these were not included) and settled on the Calibra veterinary renal tins. However, these only came in a single flavour (chicken) and we needed something else to ring the changes so that the cat did not go off the Calibra. The Beaphar in duck and salmon was ideal. She really tucked in to both flavours. Some of the other renal food was almost sticky in its consistency but the Beaphar had some juice/gravy and the cat thoroughly enjoyed it. Sadly she passed away a week ago but for a cat whose appetite had otherwise been on the wane she thoroughly enjoyed these. For ordering and delivery Amazon we’re as efficient as ever.

Items arrived crushed...
This is one of the only kidney-friendly cat food my cat will (just about) tolerate. For this reason, I made a much larger order. But the items arrived in a flimsy cardboard and a couple of the tins were punctured. As this was all during the heat wave, I had to throw the damaged tins away. As these are perishable goods and quite fragile (easy to puncture) It is important that the company packages their product better. It seems such a huge faff to have to go via the company website to complain, but hopefully they will see the feedback here. I don't even know how to request a refund as I am not going to send a smelly, broken container in the post! Apart from that, the product seems good and the dense pate is a good choice for those cats who can't tolerate shreds or bits. It can also be watered down for cats who can no longer bite.

Fussy 18 loves this
So far my 18 year-old cat with renal disease is actually finishing her bowl of food, she really likes this stuff, I was having to waste so much of the pro-plan renal function dietary requirement, so am mixing these together. She's a very fussy madame and finding something she will eat that will help her is a big step forward for her happy little life. And she loves eating, so to find something she enjoys and is what she needs, big plus

Not packed well
Not too expensive, my cats fussy, wouldn’t eat the fish one , but ate the chicken at a push, they arrived in a bag so some were a bit crushed!
