I’ve now owned the Gym Monster now for about 2 months and have found it to be an amazing machine. I used to be a body builder many years ago and spent 1-2 hours in the gym daily with free weights and machines so I am very familiar with weight lifting. While I had been using free weights at home, I have found I completely transitioned to Gym Monster for the range of workouts, customizable programs, and detailed tracking. Overall, the machine is a fantastic replacement to free weights. The feel is different but comparable for sure and the amount of resistance differs through a motion, sometimes better and sometimes worse than free weights but not enough to have me moving back to free weights. While the max weight is only slightly over 200 lbs, it should suffice for most people and most exercises. While I do have concern about being caught under a bar attached to cables at high weight, the machine has not given me any indication of failure. Having the bluetooth ring work flawlessly to date and also having the assistance setting (like a spotter) has abated those fears. For any still weary, you cam always just use handles vs the bar. I highly recommend the Gym Monster. — As a final note, customer service has been impeccable. They’ve responded quickly to requests and sent a replacement plastic cap for the rowing machine which was damaged during shipment. A+ machine and A+ customer service in my opinion.

I love my GM1 family plus edition. It has been one of the best purchase I've ever made. I purchased the GM in September of 2023, and it has helped me transform my health. I've always had weights at home but always struggled with a plan. Besides the footprint and amount of exercises you can do on the GM, I feel like the #1 feature are the programs. This is what has allowed me to stay consistent and gain strength in a well rounded way. The rower is a great accessory and helps change up my cardio, I'll go between rower and ski. The customer support has also been top notch along with the speediance facebook community.

Overall great machine, have been using it for few weeks and it has its positives and negatives. On the positives, it is really good at giving you a ton of variants in terms of exercises you can do; and it is all for free, as the included software is not locked behind a subscription. This must be the first time in a long time that I see a product sold as finished and complete. Other companies ask you to pay for a monthly fee, but this one instead does not do it. Maybe this will change, but for the time being, the machine is sold completely unlocked with all the exercises available to you. As far as negatives there are 2 that I consider pretty evident: 1) the software has no idea of what you do: the video play in the background constantly, so when you do an exercise it does not have a way to know if you are doing the exercise or not, or if you are doing it as expected or not. The cable tension and extension will tell the machine the various parameters, so the results of the workout may vary depending from the position you have on the machine. This is particularly evident when you need to do an exercise facing with your back the monitor, while you instead face the monitor (like triceps extension). The machine won't record correctly the exercise because your position is incorrect, but it has no way to know that (also why recording many exercises facing away from the monitor, if you need to look at the monitor for guidance?) 2) the overall program is made as sequence but the machine has no clue that you are switching between exercises. Basically it just play constantly the various exercises, and does not account for example that if you need to attach the barbell or the incline bench, you need time to do that. Same if you have to swap the position of the cable attachment from the top to the bottom section. You have to pause the exercise routine manually, make the changes and then push play again; and this is quite a pain especially if you are laying down and need to reach the screen to press play... Because the bluetooth ring is useless in this case, as it does not pause and unpause the exercise routine. The other issues are related to the poor quality of the Bluetooth ring itself, which most of the time get disconnected and the wheel get stuck; and the fact that the attachments are really of cheap quality, considering how much you pay for the machine. The machine itself and the screen are great, so I am not sure why they made such cheap accessories. The rowing bench for example is really poor quality and started to squeak after 2 days of usage; while the incline bench already show signs of having the thread where you screw in the knobs to fix the foldable legs in being ruined; because you have to remove completely the screw to fold the legs (not sure who had that brilliant idea to make that design; instead of using the same design used for the sliding mechanism of the back of the incline bench). Another little flaw is that the cable attachment can only connect on the floor board in one position; which makes it hard to use a lot of attachments unless you are perfectly in the middle of the floor board. Overall a good item that serve its purpose and that will be helpful to keep you engaged; especially if you like to "gamify" your physical activity (the rowing part is quite fun); although the experience is totally disconnected from what you do, as the machine does not have any interactive feature beside recording the movements of the cables. Does not record the pressure on the plate when you stand on it, as a simple wii board that cost 100 dollars could do 10 years ago, nor is able to record your movements using a smart watch connection or even its own ring. I was expecting a bit more in terms of interactivity but what you get is pretty good value, if you get the machine at a good discount. Once folded it is really taking no space at all; so if you are short on space, it is a great machine. Although the rowing seat does not fold and it is big and heavy, so keep that in mind.

Amazing product. Changed my perspective on working out. Bought a few accessories with an extension attachment. Also got a decline bench press to add to the portfolio. It makes working out fun.

For the most part, this machine is ok.... Gor the price, i expected it to be better!!! For me the bluetooth controller/interface is the worst part of this machine!!! It never works right! Doesnt turn the weights on or off!!! You'd be unable to do bench presses!!!! I contacted support, they said go and change/ buy a new antenna! .... Like the fuhq? I spent almost 4k on this thing and i gotta buy more things for it to work..??!?!? Im having issues until now after a year of ownership!!!

Ich habe das Family Plus jetzt seit einigen Wochen benutzt. Mich begeistert die unkomplizierte Funktionalität, alles ist "smooth" schnell aufgestellt und umgesteckt. Bin vom Rudern an den Seilen (war da etwas skeptisch) total begeistert. Ja, es ist noch nicht alles komplett in deutsch und die Software liefert immer mal witzige Übersetzungen, aber es ist alles gut und klar erklärt, man kommt sofort damit zu recht. Kein großartiger, zeitraubender Umbau, kein Scheiben rauf, Scheiben runter, einfach Gewicht eingestellt und los. So mag ich das. Bin da etwas faul und bequem. Wlan lief sofort ohne Probleme, Puls über Apple-Watch wird ohne Zicken erkannt. Das Rudern mit Seil ist sehr leise, der Sitz quietscht etwas beim vor und zurück Gleiten, mal sehen, ob ich das noch auf absolut leise bekomme, stört mich aber nicht. Ich wiege halt auch knapp 100kg. Ich bin Freizeitsportler, habe also wegen der 2x 50kg Last durch den Motor keine Bedenken, dass mir das mittelfristig zu wenig werden wird (Brust bei der Stärke-Bewertung 34 kg). Für Fortgeschrittene Kraftsportler mag das ein Problem sein, oder werden, für mich als Otto-Normalo Fitnesstrainierer ist das völlig ausreichend. Der Service war Klasse, ich hatte bei der Bestellung vergessen, das kostenlose Angebotsequipment in den Warenkorb zu legen, kurze Mail an den Verkäufer, kein Problem, nicht stornieren, wir liefern das auch so. Gesagt getan, die Skigriffe und Hantelhalter waren dann auch einige Tage später kostenlos da. Danke und Daumen hoch. Lieferzeit hat gepasst, es gab lediglich zum anvisierten Datum eine Verzögerung von 3 Tagen, finde ich völlig in Ordnung. Das Paket ist aber entsprechend der anderen Rezensionen wirklich groß und kommt auf einer Palette. Ich hätte das Teil nicht allein in die Wohnung - Erdgeschoß - bekommen. Zur Langlebigkeit kann ich natürlich nichts sagen, mich hat das Gerät jedenfalls aufgrund der intuitiven Handhabung voll motoviert und bisher überzeugt. Es steht im Ruhezustand eingeklappt hinter der Wohnzimmertür, fällt kaum auf und ist bei Bedarf in 30 Sekunden einsatzbereit, super.

タイトルの通りです！ 自宅にいろんな機材を入れてジムにする計画がありましたが、おかげさまでこれ1台で完了しました！ 日本語が若干不自然なのと、アクセサリー変更の際にケーブルが若干重いのが、気になる点ですが、それを差し引いてもコレはとても良いものだと思います！ あとは、壊れないかどうかですね！ 何かあれば追記します！

Como entrenamiento excelente. Técnicamente podría mejorarse un poco. Lo recomiendo, pero no es perfecto.

Great piece if kit, incredibly sturdy. The free workout coaching videos that work along with you (like a personal coach) as you develop your routines are brilliant. It's expensive but well worth it if you want a great home Gym.
