Secret Weapon to sweaty lobbies
After using the Strikepack for several months in FPS games like The Finals, Siege and Battlefield, I've noticed a significant improvement in my aiming consistency. The adjustable sensitivity curves and recoil control help compensate when I'm matched against highly skilled players. While some might consider this unfair, it's been the only way for me to stay competitive in skill-based matchmaking. What Works Well: - Noticeably improves shot accuracy in fast-paced firefights - Customizable profiles for different weapons/games - Solid build quality that holds up to intense gaming sessions - Helps balance the playing field against top-tier players Setup Frustrations: - Requires constant phone connection for adjustments (drains battery) - No automatic game detection - manual profile switching needed - Steep learning curve for optimal configuration Real-World Use: I primarily use it for recoil control in battle royals or strategy based shooters- what used to take 3-4 shots to stabilize now takes 1-2. The mods don't play the game for you, but they do help minimize the skill gap (that’s all, this is not a ZEN). After about 50 hours of use, I've settled on 2-3 reliable settings that work for most military shooters games. Ethical Note: While undeniably effective, this sits in a gray area. I only use it in public casual matches (not ranked) against other players. The advantage diminishes against truly elite players. Wishlist for Improvement: - Standalone operation without phone tethering - Game auto-detection for profile switching For casual players tired of getting steamrolled by hyper-competitive opponents, this can restore some enjoyment to online play. Just be prepared for some initial setup headaches and keep your phone charger handy. A Tip for first time users: Create basic profiles for each game type during setup to minimize in-game adjustments.

Better than most “pro” controller solutions
I’ve always used custom controllers, elite controllers, etc that have either buttons or paddles. Since the release of the Xbox Series X (and before I got this to throw on the controller that came with my console), I’ve gone through a Scuf Instinct Pro, 2 Elite Series 2, and a Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma. For the most part, the thumbsticks in those controllers fail after only a handful of months of playing Destiny 2 and Call of Duty. Until I find a really good 4 paddle or button Xbox controller that makes use of hall effect sticks, I’ve decided it’s financially cheaper to use a strike pack on a stock controller. Controller breaks? $50. Strike Pack breaks? $50. So far I haven’t been disappointed. I honestly feel like the stock controllers are more resilient than the pro controllers. I received the Strike Pack Horizon 2 months ago and have put more hours on it than I’d care to share. I only use it in tournament mode and have no personal use of the mods since I’m not a scumbag. The paddles seem like they’ve been designed to be quite flexible, probably to extend the lifespan (as I’ve heard older models are quite brittle). As someone who’s used the Razer Wolverine controllers, I’ll tell you that the paddle layout on this thing isn’t all that bad. Sure it could be better, but I personally prefer it over the Scuf and Razer. The Elite Series 2 has the best feel in my opinion. I’m not one that takes issue to wired controllers. Don’t be that guy who’s controller dies mid battle. Two things that do annoy me a little bit is you have to unplug and replug the controller each time you take the Xbox out of rest mode and if your console is in rest mode, the strike pack will stay powered up and the lights on the back are quite bright (the first is a direct result of the strike pack being powered on while the Xbox is off). TL;DR: I can’t speak for the software of the Horizon, as I don’t use the app. As far as using it just for back paddles/buttons, it’s worth the investment as long as you don’t mind being wired.

The Big 4 Product Line Explained (for Xbox)
There are 4 different products you can buy to Mod out your Xbox One or Series X/S controller, which one is right for you? First, there are only 2 products that support the App, the 2 more expensive versions, the horizon mod pack and the Horizon Vista mod pack. The eliminator and dominator do not use an App. You are supposed to be able to simply hold down the mapping button on the Eliminator and Dominator press the button you want to map on the paddle, release both buttons and you’re done. Ive tried the Eliminator and Horizon. Its clear this is a great controller upgrade and significantly cheaper than an Elite 2 controller, however, I couldn’t get the paddles to map on the eliminator and the paddles on the horizon don’t stay mapped. Collective Minds wanted to be the first to launch but there are so many bugs with these products. Don’t get me wrong when it works it’s awesome but I can’t give 5 stars because it doesn’t consistently work. There are two products with paddles and two products with buttons. I prefer the paddles as I have adhered control freak grip to my controller, which definitely prevents sweaty controllers and improves grip! I could be wrong but I don’t think the 2 products with buttons would fit on my controller now that it has a grip in it, but the paddles definitely work. If you’re playing an awesome game like the Halo infinite campaign this can definitely make gaming more fun and allow you to get the edge you need. Especially on legendary. If you have or plan to get grips I would choose one of the two products with paddles. Also, since I couldn’t get the eliminator to map I would suggest the Horizon Mod pack and always keep your phone nearby in case the paddles are no longer mapped and you need to use the App. Black vs White: They say the white ones are the newer version and the black ones are the old version. I don’t know if that’s true or not because the mods don’t work on the Xbox One. Features like rapid fire or aim assist are quickly recognized by the Xbox and will not work. I haven’t tried the mods on a pc game yet but don’t count on it helping with games on consoles! NOTE: You will need to update the firmware on all 4 products via pc or mac. You MUST disconnect the U-shaped USB Adapter from the mod pack and the controller or else your computer won’t be able to recognize the mod pack. Joystick Guards: Also I added a control freak medium guard on my right aiming joystick and it works fantastic. However, I learned the hard way not to put them on the left joystick that controls movement so you only need one guard. Joystick knob height upgrade: I also added height to both of my Xbox controller joysticks for better control and they work beautifully. Hope this helps!

It works flawlessly but huge learning curve.
So having arthritis in my left thumb I wasn't able to sprint in games a I bought an 8bitdo controller with 2 buttons. After about 6 months of heavy use the right button I used for melee started sticking. I looked around the internet and found Collective Minds. I first bought the Battle Pack Pro on sale for $8. It has no mods but the four extra buttons worked well. So as I looked deeper into the products they created I decided to try the Strikepack Ultimate double paddle with a game mods yearly subscription for thier pre programmed game packs. It was awesome with all the mods and features. But you need to hook it up to your computer to download the gamepacks into the Strikepack device. And you need to remember what weapons you added and where you put them. You can't open the Game mod app and check without plugging the controller back to the computer. So I looked at the Horizon with 4 paddles and fully customizable on your phone. in real time. That was a game changer. Although I think the Ultimate had more options the simplicity and convenience of the Horizon sells it. Im going for the Cronus next I can't wait. Now listen if you don't like to do your homework or read and take the time to check out all the options this device isn't for you. You will spend most of your time in the beginning trying to understand what does what and effects what. It is pretty much without problems if you understand how it works. And learning it all can be daunting and frustrating. But after some hours of studying and experimenting and watching videos and reading it will begin to come together. I do not have a huge understanding still but I leave all the extra funky stuff alone and stick with tried and true. After mastering that I'll have many more days and weeks to dive into the more complicating business. Good luck And read everything right from the beginning on updating the firmware properly and you should be fine.

Amazing for call of duty
I recently acquired this controller, and I must say, it has truly transformed my gaming experience, especially in Call of Duty. The consensus among my friends is that my skills have taken a noticeable leap since I started using this controller, and now I can't imagine going back to a regular two-paddle setup. One aspect I hadn't anticipated was the initial glitchiness of the accompanying app. However, a quick dive into YouTube tutorials helped me iron out the kinks, and now everything runs smoothly. It's a small hiccup that, once addressed, reveals the full potential of this controller. The addition of extra paddles has proven to be a game-changer, allowing for a level of customization and control that's hard to match with a standard controller. The difference in performance is not just felt but visibly recognized by those around me. I must admit that making the switch to this controller has been a decision I don't regret. It has not only heightened my gaming abilities but also made me realize the impact a well-designed controller can have on one's overall gaming experience. If you're serious about taking your gameplay to the next level, this controller is a worthy investment. Despite the initial hiccup, the overall satisfaction and improvement in my gaming skills make this controller a solid addition to my setup. It has become an indispensable tool, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow gamers looking to up their game in Call of Duty or any competitive gaming scenario.

A nice edge for controller players
Super comfortable button positioning, and it meshes really well with my controller. I haven't really messed with the app, so I can't speak much about it, but the product itself is really handy

Would be 5 star if not for Constant Troubleshooting
Would be a 5 if I wasn't having to repeatedly go through a fair number of troubleshooting steps to get it to work each and every time between use. That is, having to memory wipe it at the very least usually also having to refresh the app as well if not delete the app & its data and re-download the app. Make sure to back up your custom macros and profiles as you will likely need to clear all the app data every so often when clearing the memory on the pack and refreshing the app doesn't do the trick. If everything else fails that you can find online to try, clearing its memory and connecting fresh to an app on an entirely new device that has never connected to it may do the trick. Then you can delete the app and app data off the original device you like to run the app on, re-download the app, and then it may actually work again on your preferred device. Luckily I had a number of old devices to do this on as the app works on old operating systems. If that is not an option for you, maybe try an emulator, a new emulator, or new fresh emulator profile on your PC depending on if you were running the app on an emulator already.
