Bosch Professional 36 pieces Impact driver Bit Set (Impact Control, Pick and Click, Accessories for Impact Drivers)

I purchased this set to go along with my new combi drill. I'll admit to being a bit of a DIY novice and didn't want to purchase another massive set of bits, that I'd probably never use. This 35 piece seemed to fit the bill. A couple of the drill bits have already been given a bit of a test run. They've been used for wood, plasterboard and brick. Each time they've breezed through the job. The screwdriver bits have probably been used even more. They seem solid. Some of the outer coating has come away a little bit, but aside from this, they appear undamaged and still nicely fit the corresponding screw heads. My old drill bit set has the more tradition/old-fashioned smooth end, to fit into your drill, which can slip and doesn't always feel very secure. With these hex-ended bits, they sit secure in my drill and give you confidence that they aren't going anywhere. In my opnion, the only small negative is the price. I looked at other, larger sets for cheaper. Yes, these may be higher quality, but I'd say £25 - £30 would be a better price for them. The product box is a great size, with a good variety of bits. I'd highly recommend.

Great set, great price

Ideal little extra for a bloke at christmas. I tend to always be doing jobs for family, so this comes in handy for a quick grab kit to do a lot,of small jobs. The blue drill bits are brilliant.

Neat and sturdy properly closable case containing most common bit sizes in use on site, or at home, today. I rate most all of the Bosch professional bits (grey on the plastics usually) from their quad tipped SDS drill bits (clean and fast) through to their self-pulling threaded fast flat-bits to their jigsaw and circular saw blades and now their screw driver bits too. (Only iffy consumables made by Bosch are the blades in their SDS/hex-drive quick-release hole-saws [the ones painted white] which from 25mm up are of shocking poor quality tin-can steel and only the 20mm (from personal experience) actually seems to have cobalt in the blade metal and also the collar on the arbor quick release is too fat/wide and impedes normal usage negating it's whole design completely when using smaller hole saws therefore its use but this is a side story and not relevant WHATSOEVER to these driver bits or any other of their pro-rated consumables I have mentioned...I must add (I think). Sorry about that but would Bosch please take note. This bit set comes complete with few of the Bosch multi-material drill bits in relevant common sizes, 5mm 5.5 mm and 8mm which are pretty good, fair play, and can drill most any materials but do have a wider tip. All of the driving bits in the kit are impact rated so should last well which so far they have. All supplied driver bits, Ph- Pzi -Torx- Hex- Sq-drive, effectively are varying lengths of bit from a set range of bit sizes and types. All in all great quality black phosphated impact rated bits in a good quality case and can be customised to suit your needs if need be. Bosch, to my mind, are one of if not the premier consumable maker on the market especially their pro construction kit and I've been rarely disappointed with them, ever.

After years of frustration with inferior bit sets that snap, wear down, or simply can't handle tough jobs, I finally invested in the Bosch Pick & Click Multi-Material set, and I couldn't be more impressed. Excellent product fast delivery

I bought this set because I had a small broken HSS drill bit stuck in a hole that I needed to drill out. Research suggested a tungsten carbide drill bit was what I needed. After some more research I found out these have tungsten carbide tips, so I thought I would give them a go. On offer at £23 I got a bargain. The drill bits did exactly what I needed. I drilled out the HSS drill bit and the tip still looks in great condition. I have no doubt the diamond ground bits will also go through concrete as they have drilled through brick like a hot knife through butter. There is a great selection of other driver bits (Phillips, Pozi and Torx) and a solid quick release holder, which will come in real handy for all the other jobs I have coming up. If you can get this set anywhere close to £23 you're getting it for a steal. I'd still have been happy to have bought this set if it were over £30.
