I really like this concept of attaching to the air vents. The technology works well for vents that have strong and stable fins and installation is easy. It is also a plus keeping your phone from heating up in the summer by having the AC constantly blowing on it. The magnets all work great. I have used this in two vehicles for a year and a half and have had no issues. Admittedly, it did not work very well on an older Toyota with smaller fins, so I used the CD mount and it has done well. It just needs to be retightened every now and then.

So the CD-slot mount is way more stable than the "break the fins off your AC vent" type that basically every other product is. It fits into the slot well and seems secure. The magnet is solid. Acceptable design. There are some problems that keep it from being *great*, though: - The arm to lift your phone above the CD slot is stupidly short. It needs to be at least an inch and a half longer to actually raise your phone up enough to be in view. - It's not a charger, which is fine, but there isn't even a way to guide the charging wire into place. It just hangs on to the phone and your charging cable hangs down all loosey goosey getting in the way. - Where the mount is placed is weird. It's like, the middle of the CD slot. I'm pretty sure my seat is to the left of it, so that doesn't help a lot - The adjustment is limited. You can just barely angle your phone at the driver if you crank it all the way. It could stand to twist maybe another 15-20º. I'm kind of squinting through my privacy filter because you can't face it all the way towards you. Having said all that, I'm keeping it. The CD slot solution is clever and won't break yet another fin, probably my third or fourth, off the AC vent. If there were a version that raised the phone higher and tilted more towards the driver, that'd be the better product. As it is... its tolerable.

I was so excited for this cd player mount, which would put my phone in the best possible spot. When I went to install, my radio dial was in the way of the units twist lock knob which is under the unit and locks the unit into the cd player by expanding flaps. I was crying in my car when I had a brilliant idea. I turned the unit upside down which put the twist lock knob on top and I locked it in, then I spun the arm mount around back to the top (everything is adjustable) and this worked PERFECT!!! See photos. I dried my tears and couldn’t be happier with this thing. The magnet is strong and secure for my phone in a silicone case, it’s easy to reach, it doesn’t obstruct my view, or the heat vents, or the radio dial. I don’t notice much vibration at all, perhaps the design offers some shock absorption. The ball bearing in the arm provides unlimited adjustability on the fly. I have a MagSafe phone, but they include a magnet if you need one. It’s a solid unit and well thought out. I’d happily pay double. You’re welcome :)

This product is well designed and well made. Unfortunatly when connected to the CD slot in my car, the device wobbled and vibrated badly. This could be due to the design of my CD slot, (2013 Porsche Boxster). or the design of the device. Either way, it is not usable with my vehicle.

I found this to be a great product. I’m using it in a 2015 Honda Accord. It is very easy to install and if you tighten all the fasteners it is very sturdy. Very minimal shaking while driving the interstate or back roads. This mount is only as strong as your CD player. I highly recommend this mount for anyone that has an unused CD player in their car. The included vent mount looks to be well made but I didn’t try it.

got this a couple months ago; I love it so much! My 2005 Toyota Camry doesn't have a lot of good spots to mount my phone, so the CD mount is perfect. it does block using the radio as nicely as before, but it's something i'm willing to work around. Worth it!

I have a tiny car with not a lot of room for a phone stand. I've tried many different options and I just couldn't make them work longterm. Finally I came across this CD holder stand and I decided to give it a try. It did require me to change over to a magsafe ring, but in the long run I'm happier with that decision. Anyways, this stand is great and you can make it work any way you need to. The magnet is super strong (sometimes it doesn't want to let go 😂) and no matter how rough the roads my phone has never fallen off. It does shake while driving, but that doesn't bother me too much. Overall, I highly recommend this if you need a magsafe holder that doesn't charge.

Works well. Holds my phone firmly enough coupled with the magnetic case I use, but with one handed removal without a struggle. Pretty sturdy, holds in CD slot firmly and well adjustable.

I don’t write reviews usually but I had the lottie cd slot mount before and I just wanted to say this is definitely much better. The mechanism to tighten mount into the cd slot is way more effective and this one is much stronger than the lottie one I had. Also the arm is great because it has quite a few positions and I was able to adjust it to it wouldn’t interfere with the controls. I’m using the otterbox symmetry magsafe case with an iPhone 14 Pro Max and it’s solid and holds in place no problem and doesn’t wobble or anything. The mount is installed in a 2011 BMW 328. The tightening knob is a little tight against the cd slot but it works. The only way this thing could be better is if there was a version with MagSafe charging.

Worth the price. The cd one works great, haven’t tried the vent one but it looks very good quality and should fit 90% of vents. Cd one is alittle obstructive so keep that in mind

Firm support, strong magnet, solidly built and easy to use and install. Been using it for more than a month- up to -42°C and on bumpy snow and ice filled roads and it stays steady and my phone does not bounce around. Would highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed!
